House: Mob Rules

Moments before mobster Joey Arnello is set to reveal his mob secrets in federal court, he ends up collapsing. A court order instructs House to find out if he is faking and quickly. House and his team struggle to diagnose and cure Joey mainly because his brother, Bill, is dead set against Joey testifying at all. In the meantime, Cuddy tries to convince a disbelieving Vogler that House is actually an essential part of the hospital and not just costly as he thinks. Joey keeps mysteriously slipping in and out of a coma and now that his job is on the line, House decides it's time to make an exception to his own policy and tries to get to know his patient.

Episode Quotes
House: I need the lawyer.
Vogler: Who'd you kill?
House: Nobody. But it's not even lunch.

Dr. Cuddy: House has been very busy...
Vogler: Saving New Jersey from leprosy - yes, I know.

Dr. Foreman: What's wrong with the timing?
House: You get home night - your wife hits you with a baseball bat. Likely causes: the fact that you hadn't thanked her for dinner in eight years, or the receipt for fur handcuffs that she found in your pants. Sudden onset equals proximate cause.

Dr. Chase: You can trust me.
House: Problem is, if I can't trust you, I can't trust your statement that I can trust you. But thanks anyway - you've been a big help

Dr. Cameron: I don't have the right to show interest in someone?
Dr. Foreman: You absolutely do. And I absolutely have the right to humiliate you for it.

Dr. Foreman: Your diabolic plan to convince the evil genius he's in the clear so he'll let his guard down and make a fatal mistake, sure
House: Well it's clearly not going to work now.
Dr. Chase: What evil genius?
House: If we knew that, we wouldn't need a diabolic plan, would we?
