Mickey and Minnie want to go on a vacation, and leave Donald and Daisy in charge of the House of Mouse, but Minnie has a nagging feeling that something will go wrong as soon as they leave. Mickey assures her it won't happen, but before they can leave, Mr. Toad comes through the club on his motorcycle, terrorizing it, because Daisy invited him as a guest. Minnie stops Mr. Toad, but then Donald tells them he booked '101 Dragons' to come and play, and they begin terrorizing the club. Finally, Mickey decides to just host half of the show, and then leave.

| Around the World In 80 Days: Mickey and Goofy star as homeless shelter owners in this cartoon. They cannot afford to pay their many bills, but they are in luck! Mickey has just inheritted a fortune, but he's late to pick it up. Scrooge, who is supposed to give Mickey the fortune, decides to test Mickey's punctuality by making him travel around the world in 80 days. That way, Mickey would have to be on time to every train, bus, ship, etc, or he won't make it in time. Along the way, Mickey and Goofy save a jungle native who is going to be forced into marrying someone who she does not want. | The "Around the World In 80 Days" cartoon is the second cartoon to take up the entire time given to air cartoons during the show because of it's length. | In the original Around the World In 80 Days, by Jules Verne, a wealthy business man bet 20,000 pounds (London currency) that he could make it around the world in 80 days. The version in this episode is loosely based on the original version. |
