When the gang breaks out into their biggest argument over which was better: the duck or the rabbit, Ranjit gets heated as well and joins the argument in his native tongue. Ranjit very enthusiastically begins to argue in Persian. He yells out the following argument in favor of the duck being better: "A duck can swim, walk and fly, what else do you want from the poor animal!"
Episode Goofs
Although Ranjeet says in the first season that he is Bangladeshi, the foreign language he speaks in this episode is not Bengali, it is Persian.

When Marshall and Lily are discussing possible dates for Ted, they mention Natalie, and say that Ted in her least favorite person in the world. We met Natalie in episode 1x04 "Return of the Shirt" where she and Ted start dating and soon break up for the second time. Both times, Ted breaks up with her on her birthday.
