<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
The Interrogator tends to Winston's wounds and makes him presentable, and admits that after the last 48 hours, Winston probably regrets meeting Christopher Chance. They then go to a bank to get the book.

Christopher and Guerrero arrive, posing as police officers, and ask the teller, Denise to set off the alarm. When Christopher realizes that the alarm is silent, he has no choice but to shoot the main alarm. Guerrero and Chance draw on the Interrogator and his men, and the Interrogator reveals that he's strapped explosives to Winston's chest and is holding the detonator. Christopher apologizes for getting Winston into the situation, and apologizes for Aunt Suzy. He then shoots the Interrogator's hand, blowing off his finger and causing him to drop the detonator. The Interrogator tries to run with the book, and Guerrero shoots him dead.

Meanwhile, Christopher admits that he doesn't know how to defuse the bomb. He tells that Winston that no matter what happens, it's goodbye. Christopher then pulls out a wire, stopping the bomb. He walks away, and Winston wonders where he's gone. Guerrero explains that Christopher has left, and it's the last time that Winston will see his friend. They get out before the police arrive.

One Week Later

Winston is cleaning up at the warehouse when four men in suits and sunglasses come in. He tells them that Christopher is gone, and Pete, their leader, says he works for an employer who needs Christopher's specific services. When Winston explains that Christopher is gone for good and might as well be dead, Pete warns that his employer is persistent. He leaves with his team,

Six Months Later

In Nepal, Christopher is meditating at an ashram and the monks watch as he maintains deep meditation for a third day. A helicopter arrives and security men bring out a woman: Ilsa Pucci. She admits that it took her six months to track him down, and says that he'd better be worth it. Ilsa explains that her husband, software billionaire and philanthropist Marshal Pucci, died in an airplane crash six months ago. She wants him to find her husband, Marshal, and admits that she's in danger and there have been several assassination attempts. Christopher refuses to take the case, and she dismisses him as cowardly. However, as she goes, the monks tell Christopher to leave and he goes with Ilsa.

Back in San Francisco, Christopher, Pete, and Ilsa get into the elevator and Winston arrives with them. Christopher makes introductions and they go up to the office. It's still wrecked, and Winston explains that when Christopher left, they had no clients and no revenues. Ilsa explains that Marshal assigned Pete to guard her before he died. Several weeks later, a killer came after her, and Pete lost one of his men. Christopher figures that the assassin deliberately revealed himself, and wants time to figure out why. Winston says that they need to get Ilsa back out in public, and she says that she's hosting an annual charity party. They figure the assassin will reveal himself when Ilsa goes public, and Ilsa agrees to the plan despite Pete's objections. When Pete wonders how two of them can guard her, they say that they're missing someone.

Guerrero is driving down the street when he gets a call from his friends. He welcomes Christopher back, stops off, dumps the man in the trunk off, and continues on.

At the party that night, Christopher and Winston arrive and meet with Ilsa and Pete. Christopher explains that he likes to improvise, and tells her to do whatever he tells her. Shelly, Marshal's lawyer, arrives and tells Ilsa that she needs to be up front to bring in the donations. Guerrero arrives, carrying several heavy guns, and Christopher sends him to guard the perimeter.

Christopher escorts Ilsa around the party. Meanwhile, a woman in a suit storms in and tells the security guards that they need to be checking the ID. She insists on going upstairs to find out what's going on. Winston notices her and warns Guerrero and Chance that they have a possible target.

In the elevator, the woman changes into a dress and removes a wig. She goes out into the party, looking totally different.

A villager from Pakistan approaches Ilsa and thanks her for financing a hospital. Once he leaves, Christopher notes that the villager's accent is wrong and his shoes are too expensive. He has Winston check him out. Shelly brings over Lars Nielsen and the woman, who is posing as someone called Melinda Wilson. She shakes Ilsa's hand repeatedly, and Christopher realizes she's the security woman who came in. He gets Ilsa out onto the dance floor and checks her for in pricks while dancing with her. She admits that the ring she's wearing was given to her by her father two days before he died.

Winston spots the security girl at the elevator and chases after her. He briefly corners her on the stairs, but a passing waitress blocks the shot. She gets to the kitchen and Guerrero is there. He easily punches her out while a wheezing Winston arrives and insists he didn't need Guerrero's help. They check her purse and find Ilsa's ring: the girl switched them out. Christopher checks the crowd and tells Ilsa to get down, just as a sniper opens fire. He quickly realizes that the killer isn't hitting anyone, and figures that it's a diversion. Pete insists that they need to get Ilsa out, and she agrees to go with him. When Christopher tries to after them, the security guards capture him. He takes them out and warns Winston and Guerrero, and then goes down the stairs. Christopher hears gunshots and Guerrero confirms that Ilsa has been abducted and Pete killed.

Christopher runs outside as the abductors leave in a black SUV. They open fire, pinning Christophe down until they can make their escape.

Guerrero takes the girl back to the warehouse and ties her to a chair. She demands answers, but Guerrero asks where she got the wring. He takes a pair of pliers out of a tackle box and asks who hired her. Winston comes in before she can answer, and explains that her name is Ames. He admits that he didn't recognize her from the five times that he arrested her as a juvenile. Winston let her go once, but admits it didn't turn out well. He takes the lock pick out of her mouth, and then tells Guerrero that they need information fast. When she hears Guerrero's name, Ames starts to panic.

In the kitchen, Christopher is beating himself up for losing Ilsa. Winston says it wasn't his fault. They go over the case, and figure that someone hired Ames to put the fake ring with a tracking device on Ilsa to track her. Marshal was involved with some shady operations in Africa, and Christopher has Winston start running background checks.

Ames tells Guerrero that she's an expert thief, and talks about how her father left. Guerrero isn't interested, and tells her to talk about her employer. Ames says that she was hired to switch the rings, and didn't know anything about an abduction. He doesn't believe her and prepares to torture her, and Ames finally admits that it was a man called Fat Tony. Guerrero tells her to relax... unless she's lying. Then she should be very nervous.

As Winston goes over Marshal's bank accounts, Guerrero tells them that Fat Tony was killed, collaborating Ames' story. They track the private flights out of San Francisco, and realize that one is heading for Switzerland, where Marshal's plane went down.

On the plane, Shelly offers Ilsa champagne, and explains that they need her to make a withdrawal from her bank in Geneva. Ilsa notes that their personal vault has an iris scan that requires her and her husband, and Shelly tells her that they're meeting Marshal in Geneva.

As they prepare to leave, Guerrero suggests that they cut Ames loose. Winston wants to turn her over to the police, insisting that she's irredeemable. Ames gets out of the handcuffs and says that the people that killed Fat Tony will come after her next. She asks for a gun, and Winston insists that they can't trust her. Ames points out that she's good with banks, and Christopher reluctantly agrees to bring her along in case she can prove useful.

26 Hours Later

In Geneva, Shelly and his men bring Ilsa to the bank and she signs in. They go to the vault and Ilsa has the security system confirm her. Shelly then takes her husband's frozen eye out of a case and uses it to complete the security scan. They go inside and Shelly takes Marshal's briefcase. He explains that it contains all of the paperwork he needs to assume Marshal's identity.

Shelly and his men leave with Ilsa, but Ilsa balks in the lobby. She figures that Shelly will kill her once they're outside, and tells him to kill her. When he hesitates, Ilsa says that he's a coward. Outside, the team watches and realizex that Ilsa is making her stand. Christopher calls for a new plan. Ames is already inside, posing as a tourist, and Christopher tells her to get the guard's access key to the stairwell.

Christopher then enters the alleyway and tells everyone to get out. The security gate goes down and Shelly's men open fire. They get into the elevator and go upstairs. Meanwhile, Ames takes the guard's key and passes it off to Christopher. He gets into the stairwell and runs up, intercepting Shelly as he heads for the helicopter on the roof. However, they manage to get the drop on Christopher and demand that he puts down the gun. Christopher agrees, and Shelly asks him what his plan was. Christopher says that he didn't have a plan, but he did bring another guy. Guerrero fires through the window, hitting Shelly in the hand and disarming him. As the gunmen open fire, Christopher grabs Ilsa and leaps out the window with her. They fall into the river below and Winston arrives in a motorboat to pick them up.

Later, Ilsa goes through her husband's briefcase and finds a note addressed to her. Christopher offers to give her some room, and she asks why he does what he does. He suggests that he does it for the money, but she doesn't believe him and figures he has something a lot to redeem. As the guys try to find a way back to the U.S., Ilsa offers to have them work for her in return for bankrolling them. Christopher hesitates, and Ilsa insists that she'll be hands off. Ames comes running out of the bank with the guard sin pursuit, and she says that she was returning Mrs. Pucci's bracelet... the bracelet she stole from the vault. She looks up to them for support.

Back in San Francisco, Christopher finally apologizes to Winston for leaving him, and admits he was wrong. They arrive at their office... and discover that Ilsa has had the entire place redecorated. Winston says that Christopher has to be hidden, but Christopher opens the drapes and says that his enemies can come to get him.
