Bob Anderson is in his car rapping with some music when he gets a call from his wife, Angie. He bends over to get it from the car pocket... just as a helmeted motorcyclist drives by and opens fire on him, shattering the windows. The killer escapes into traffic while Bob shares after his attacker in shock.
Later, Bob comes to see Chance and Winston, and explains that someone tried to kill him in a drive by shooting. He only survived because his wife Angie called him. Bob doesn’t understand why anyone wants him dead, and explains that he writes communication software for weather satellites, for a defense contractor.
Bob and Angie go to Fisherman’s Wharf while Chance and Guerrero follow them and Winston watches from the surveillance fan. When the couple split up briefly, Winston watches Angie and sees her switch bags with a man. He spots her take out a gun and advance on Bob, and they realize that she’s the killer. Chance uses a fishing pole and a cleaver to create distractions for Angie without him realizing that he’s there, while Guerrero gets Bob to the van. After he delays Angie, Chance gets to the van and tells Bob who is trying to kill him.
Back at the office, Bob refuses to accept that Angie is an assassin. Ilsa and Ames arrive together and Winston asks why Ames didn’t answer her phone. Ilsa apologizes, saying that she took Ames to Las Vegas. They refuse to tell Winston why, and Ilsa hastily asks why Bob is there. Bob explains that he’s married, and Ames is surprisingly touched. Ilsa says that she believes that marriage is a sacred institution, but figures that Chance is right and Angie is trying to kill him. Winston checks Angie’s background and discovers that she was married before, and her last husband died of poison. Bob doesn’t believe that Angie wants to kill him, and says that Angie set up a weekend in the woods at a cabin. Chance says that the best way to lure her out is to let have another shot at Bob.
Angie meets with her superior, Ivan, who asks why Bob is still alive. He says that they’re running out of time, and Angie insists that they’ll meet the deadline. She admits that she’s not sure how Bob got away, and suspects that he had help. Angie tells Ivan to trust her and leaves. Outside, Winston and Guerrero watch from the van. Guerrero is unable to hack the computers in the building, and figures that they will have to climb the building. Ames arrives late and Winston notices that she has a wedding ring. He realizes that’s why she went to Vegas, and Guerrero quickly confirms what happened. He notes that Ames should have invited Winston.
Bob is packing for their trip when Angie gets home. He acts nervous around her, and Chance arrives to explain that he’s Bob’s co-worker. He claims his car broke down and Bob is offered him a lift to the resort near their cabin so he can meet his fiancé.
As Guerrero and Ames break in, Winston asks Ames over the radio how long she’s been married. She doesn’t want to get into it, and Guerrero discovers encryption protocols protecting “Project Greystar.”
Ivan and his man pick up an alarm that Guerrero is hacking the system.
Guerrero downloads the file and explains that it’s coded in Russia. He figures that OSA is involved, and Angie is a working agent. Ivan and his man arrive and Winston warns his teammates. Guerrero downloads the files to Winston and then gets out the window with Ames. They descend to the street and Ivan holds his fire to avoid alerting the police. He figures they can deal with them later on their own.
When they arrive at the cabin, Chance claims that he was supposed to go to the resort a week later. Chance offers to sleep in his truck, and Angie tells him to find an inn. She goes into the cabin while Chance gets a call from Guerrero explaining that Angie is an OSA spy. Inside, Angie gets a call from Ivan warning that they’ve been breached, possibly by the CIA. He tells Angie to finish the job, and she looks outside the window to see Chance getting a call. She then takes a hidden gun out of her hairdryer and hides it on her person as Chance and Bob come inside, and tells Chance that he can stay.
Angie prepares supper and sharpens the mea-carving knife. Chance offers to cut the meat for her, trips against her, and apologizes. She edges around him and sits down, and palms a knife up her sleeves. Chance sits down and does the same, and Angie proposes a toast. They both watch Bob as he swirls and sips his wine, and then drink from their own glasses. Chance then compliments Angie in Russian and she instinctively responds. When she realizes her cover is blown, she draws her gun. Chance tells Bob to get some firewood and Angie agrees. Once he leaves, Angie draws her gun, figures he’s CIA, and asks what he wants. Chance points out that when he bumped into her, he took the clip and put the gun back. Angie then points out that she did the same to him. They attack each other with table accoutrements, disarm each other, and fight it out hand-to-hand. They go for their guns, reload them, and aim at each as Bob arrives. Chance grabs Bob and gets him outside and into the woods, while Ivan and his thug pull up outside.
While Winston tries to contact Chance without success, Ames gets a call from her new husband, Alejandro. She takes the call and Guerrero shoves her away. Winston complains that Ames didn’t invite her, and Guerrero says he should have figured it out. Ames returns and Guerrero discovers that the file contains a photo of Marshall Pucci with another woman. Ilsa comes in and Guerrero hastily blanks the screen before she can see it. However, she realizes something is up when they act a little too innocent.
Angie hides in the woods with a sniper rifle and prepares to shoot Bob. Chance prepares to go back to the truck, but realizes that Angie is up to something. He has Bob raise his head and Angie fires, but misses twice. Chance realizes that she deliberately missed, grabs Bob, and runs to the truck. He finds explosives inside and leads Bob away. Once she knows they’re clear, Angie shoots at the explosives and sets them off, destroying the truck.
Back at the office, Chance congratulates Bob because Angie still loves him. It’s clear that she was keeping Bob alive, rigging the explosives to fake her death and Bob’s. They confirm that Angie works for the OSA and confirm that she was born Natalia Petrovic and works for a secret branch of Russian Intelligence. Bob was actually working on a code to protect spy satellites from hackers. The OSA had hacked into the old codes, and don’t want Bob to complete work on the new ones. Chance figures that Angie won’t let Bob die, so he suggests that he call her and set up a trade: his life for the code.
Guerrero calls Chance away to tell him what they found about Marshall Pucci, and warns that it isn’t looking good. Chance tells him to do some more digging and bring everything to him, but Ilsa overhears them. When Chance explains what happened, he insists that he didn’t want to bother her. Ilsa takes offense, saying that others could be at risk. He warns her that there might be things she doesn’t want to learn about her husband, and Ilsa says that a person who has never been in a relationship with someone he trusts would think that way. She takes the files and goes off to investigate on her own. Once she leaves, Bob agrees to go through the deal... because he trusts Chance, not Angie.
As the guys prepare to move out, Chance tells Bob that they’ll have to wait and see what move Angie has planned. When Bob asks what it is, Chance admits that they’ll have to play it by ear.
Ilsa calls in Ames to use the computer software to try and identify the woman in the photo, but they have no success.
Angie arrives with her co-workers and meets Bob on an empty stretch of road. Bob tells Ivan that he’ll make the trade, but wants Angie first. Ivan agrees and sends Angie over, and Bob gives him the drive with the code. Once the exchange is made, Angie turns and starts to walk away from Bob, and Guerrero asks Chance for permission to shoot. Chance insists that she has a plan... but then Angie turns and shoots Bob in the heart.
As Ivan and the others drive away, Chance realizes that Angie made a clean non-fatal shot through Bob’s chest, missing the heart with a perfect shot. They figure that Angie planned it so Ivan won’t keep coming after Bob, and Bob is relieved that Angie loves him. Chance and Winston drive off after Ivan. They catch up and Chance opens fire, taking out Ivan’s henchman. Angie tells Ivan to turn around, and Winston stops their SUV. Chance and Angie both lean out their doors, and Ivan and Winston drive toward each other. The two opponents open fire and Chance shoots her in the chest. She falls out of the SUV and Ivan quickly drives away. Winston pulls over and they confirm that Angie is still alive thanks to Chance’s marksmanship. They drive back and reunite Angie and Bob.
Back at the office, Bob explains that he did give Ivan the code, but he put a virus on it. Angie and Guerrero are impressed. Ilsa arrives to congratulate them and wishes them the best of luck. Chance warns that Ivan will come after them, and Angie says that they have an exit plan. She asks Guerrero for help creating a new identity.
Ames come to see Winston and apologizes for not inviting him to the wedding. However, she figures that he’d think it was a mistake. He admits that he doesn’t know much about marriage, and Ames admits that he was right. She and Alejandro are getting an annulment, and Ames admits that she wasn’t thinking.
Chance apologizes to Ilsa, saying he didn’t want her to endure anything else. She accepts her apology and tells him that she wants to make sure there’s no one else out there who was involved with Marshal’s death. Ilsa tells Chance that he hasn’t been in love, and that makes all the difference when it comes to him understanding.
Later, Chance wishes and Angie well as they leave on a boat with their new cover identities. Chance walks away, alone.
In her office, Ilsa looks out the window and then contemplates the photo of Marshall and the other woman.
