We're Golden or Crooks and Big Beaver - Recap

The scene opens with Ray getting escorted in Lydia’s patrol car. He tells Lydia that there is a big misunderstanding. However, Lydia doesn’t want to listen and she drives him around the city. She tells him that she is not retarded and knows a different guy when she sees one. She goes inside the Liquor Store and leaves Ray in the car. Ray moves around and manages to get his cell phone out of his pants. He calls Tanya and she tells him that she will call Lydia and try to calm her down for him. He asks who the other guy is and Tanya says that she will reason with Lydia. Tanya calls up Lydia and tries to tell her that she is sorry. She isn’t interested in what she has to say and hangs up on her.

Matt goes over to Jessica’s and Darby answers the door. Darby goes upstairs and waits at the top to hear their conversation. Matt tells Jessica that he had a good time and just wanted to make sure that things are not going to be awkward between them. She says that she will be herself and Matt tells her that her job is secure with the hospital. Jessica is confused and Darby storms upstairs. Tanya gets to the Liquor Store. She talks to Charlie on the phone and he tells her to leave Ray with Lydia or else she is going to go to jail with him. Ray and Lydia pull up to the police station and Lydia points out another police officer. She says that he is her husband and says that they are going to celebrate their 3rd year anniversary. She says that he can meet him if he wants. Ray declines. Ray’s phone rings and it is Jessica. Lydia answers it for him and Ray asks what is going on. Damon says that he needs to get down there and defuse a situation between Darby and Jessica. Lydia offers to take him there.

Meanwhile, Lenore goes over to Jason’s place and bangs on the door. Sandee says that Jason needs to tell her the truth. She answers the door and Jason shows that he got a black eye. Sandee says that he took another client because Tanya paid him $400 for it. She is not happy and pushes her finger in his bruise and destroys their TV. Lydia tells Ray that he has 5 minutes and then she will come after him. Ray goes up to Jessica’s and Darby tells him that she is ready to go. Ray tells her that she needs to stay with Jessica and give her a break. Ray is still confused as to why Jessica slept with her boss. He tells Darby and Damon to huddle up and tells them to get along with their mother. Ray gets put back in the police car and Lydia asks how it went. He tells her that his kids are fighting with their mother and Lydia says that she always wanted kids, but her husband never did. She turns on the radio and they sing along to the song. Lydia sees that Tanya is following them and gets her into the patrol car as well. Together they travel down the road.

In the car, Ray yells at Tanya for betraying Lydia and she tells him that she couldn’t get a hold of him. They pull up to the doughnut shop and Lydia tells them that they are going to talk to her husband. Tanya starts crying and says that they are going to die. However, she gets back in the car and tells them that she didn’t say anything. Tanya tells Lydia that they are women and they need to roar. Lydia takes Tanya out of the car and handcuffs her to a fence. She gets in the car with Ray and talks to him about her problems. He tells her that he likes it when she is soft with him and not rough. He apologizes that he hurt her and she says that when she is with him, it doesn’t feel like anything bad. He offers to have sex with her without money and no “cops and robbers”. She agrees and they get “busy”. Tanya is outside freezing and she cheers on Ray. Later, Ray comes out and unhand-cuffs Tanya and they walk off together and go home.
