Fred and Ethel can't agree on where to go for their 18th wedding anniversary celebration. Fred and Ricky want to go to the fights, but Ethel and Lucy want to go to the Copacabana. They finally decide to do different things and bring dates. They all have problems getting dates, but when Lucy and Ethel find out that Ricky and Fred called a date service, Lucy has the operator set her and Ethel up as Ricky and Fred's dates.

Lucy decides that she wants to "get in on the act" when Ricky's band auditions for television, so she fills in for Buffo the clown. Trouble ensues when Lucy gets offered the job, but not Ricky's band.

7 :01x07 - The Séance

After suddenly becoming interested in superstitions, Lucy reads Ricky's horoscope and it says that today is not a good day for Ricky to make business deals. So when a call comes through with a very good job offer for Ricky, Lucy tells them no, leading Lucy to have a seance to set things right.

8 :01x08 - Men are Messy

Lucy decides to teach Ricky a lesson about his being messy when his press agent lines up a spread in Halfbeat Magazine by trashing the house. Little does Lucy know though that the reporter Ricky brings home to do the spread is actually from Look Magazine causing big trouble.

9 :01x09 - Drafted

Lucy and Ethel mistakenly believe that Ricky and Fred have been drafted when they receive a telegram for Ricky telling him to report to Army's Fort Dix. Their suspicions are further proved when Ricky and Fred come into the house practicing marching with brooms. So Lucy and Ethel decide to throw them a going away party, but Ricky and Fred believe that the girls are pregnant, and plan a party for them on the same night. Chaos ensues when Lucy and Ethel discover that when Ricky and Fred came into the house marching, they were really practicing for a routine at the club, and they're not really drafted.

10 :01x10 - The Fur Coat

Ricky has to resort to hiring Fred to pretend to burglarize Ricky's house and steal a fur coat that Lucy will not take off and believes is her anniversary present, but it really is a prop for one of Ricky's shows that he brought home to show everyone.

11 :01x11 - Lucy is Jealous of Girl Singer

Lucy sneaks into Ricky's "Jezebel" chorus line to try and find out if Ricky is seeing another woman.

12 :01x12 - The Adagio

While practicing for a number in one of Ricky's shows, Lucy gets a dance instructor that has more than dance lessons on his mind making Ricky furious.

13 :01x13 - The Benefit

Ethel desperately wants Ricky to perform st the women's club benefit, but the only way that Lucy will ask is if she gets to be in the show too. Ethel finally agrees just because she wants Ricky there. After a lot of coaxing, Ricky says that he'll be in the benefit with Lucy, but when he brings home the act for Lucy to study, Lucy finds that Ricky has given himself all of the funny lines. So she then comes up with a way to teach Ricky a good lesson.

14 :01x14 - The Amatuer Hour

Lucy has to babysit two spoiled rambunctious twins to make money to pay for a dress that she spent too much money on. She doesn't realize though what she's getting herself into, but at the last moment before Lucy goes insane, the twins' mother calls and tells Lucy that if she'll perform in a talent show with the twins, she'll let Lucy keep the $100 prize money.

15 :01x15 - Lucy Plays Cupid

Lucy tries to play matchmaker for her elderly neighbor and the milkman, even though Ricky strongly disapproves. But things don't go the way Lucy planned and the milkman begins to believe that Lucy loves him.

16 :01x16 - Lucy Fakes Illness

Lucy finally believes that she has come up with the perfect scheme to get into show business, she's going to fake having multiple mental illnesses as the results of not being in show business. But her charade backfires when Ricky discovers what she's doing and hires a doctor to scare Lucy out of her mind.

17 :01x17 - Lucy Writes a Play

Lucy is writing a play for the women's club called, A Little Tree Grows In Havana, and she needs Ricky to star in it. But as soon as Ricky takes one look at the script, he refuses. Now Lucy has to rewrite the play so that Fred can star in it.

18 :01x18 - Breaking the Lease

The Ricardos and the Mertzes get into a huge fight, and Lucy and Ricky decide that they're leaving. There's only one catch to their plan though, they signed a lease. Son now Lucy and Ricky decide to become the worst tenants ever and get kicked out. But as soon as the Mertzes do kick them out, they decide that they can't go through with it. In the end, they all apologize, and Ricky and Lucy get to stay.

19 :01x19 - The Ballet

When Lucy learns of two openings in Ricky's show, one for a ballet dancer, and one for a burlesque comic, Lucy decides to take ballet lessons because she has some past experience in it. But once that goes horribly wrong, she then decides to hire someone to help her learn the art of burlesque comedy. Then Lucy learns that Ricky now has only one opening left in the show, and falsely assuming that it's the burlesque comic, she goes down to the club with disastrous results.

20 :01x20 - The Young Fans

When Lucy and Ricky acquire two young fans, they'll stop at nothing to get them off of their backs.

21 :01x21 - New Neighbors

Lucy wrongly believes that the new neighbors are out to kill her, but in reality they were just rehearsing for a play.

22 :01x22 - Fred and Ethel Fight

Ethel and Fred have been arguing with each other nonstop for the past few days, and Lucy decides to put an end to it. So Lucy invites Ethel to dinner, and Ricky invites Fred to dinner, neither of them knowing that the other is coming. But during dinner, Ricky and Lucy begin to argue, but Ethel and Fred have stopped fighting. Now Fred and Ethel have to figure out a way to patch things up between Ricky and Lucy.

23 :01x23 - The Moustache

Lucy doesn't like Ricky's mustache and wants him to shave it off. But Ricky refuses, so Lucy decides to show him what it's like by gluing a fake beard on her face. Ricky eventually gives in and agrees to shave it, but only on the condition that Lucy gets rid of hers. But when Lucy tries to take it off, she finds out that the glue she attached it with's remover is not being made anymore.

24 :01x24 - The Gossip

The boys place a bet with the girls that they can go longer than the girls without gossiping, and the winner gets breakfast in bed for a month. Everything is going fine until Ricky's plan to cheat backfires on him.

25 :01x25 - Pioneer Women

Lucy and Ethel accept a bet from Ricky and Fred that they can't go a day without modern appliances, but what will the boys do when the girls insist that they do the same?

26 :01x26 - The Marriage License

When Lucy discovers that Ricky's name is misspelled on their marriage license, she believes that they're not legally married and insists that they get married in the same place they supposedly did the first time. But they have more trouble getting there than they expected.

27 :01x27 - The Kleptomaniac

When Lucy is hosting an auction, Ricky thinks she has stolen the goods she is hiding in the closet. It worsens when Fred and Ricky witness Lucy taking a cuckoo clock out of the Mertzes apartment, unaware that Ethel had put her up to her. Thinking she's a kleptomaniac, they hire a psychiatrist. However, to get back at Fred and Ricky, Lucy and Ethel put on an act like they have just robbed a bank.

Lucy tries to keep Ricky from dancing with his old dance partner from Cuba who used to be a little girl, but definitely isn't anymore.

Lucy almost misses out on getting her anniversary present for spying on Ricky while he's with another girl, whom unknown to Lucy is actually a jeweler that's making Lucy's anniversary gift.

Lucy handcuffs herself to Ricky to try and get him to spend more time with her, but then she realizes that she doesn't have the key. The bad thing is that Ricky has to perform a show handcuffed to Lucy while they wait for a locksmith.

When the women's club is running short on funds for their play, Lucy and Ethel decide to write and star in the play. But when the check for the costumes and props bounces, the company begins to repossess their props and supplies right in the middle of the play.

Ricky and Fred bet Lucy and Ethel that working is harder than staying home and doing chores, so they decide to switch jobs with the boys doing the housework, and the girls going out and getting jobs.
