The misadventures of Moz, a hapless drug dealer living in squalor on a Manchester estate.

Strictly a small-time operator, Moz seems to have no ambitions outside of a quiet life and regular sex with his live-in girlfriend Nicki, but his flat is a hive of activity with a posse of local characters stopping by for a score or a chat or both. Moz's main supplier is a young policeman (PC) who supplies to him the dope the force have confiscated from other dealers. PC seems to enjoy Moz's company and hangs about, stoned whenever possible.

Moz's strict rule of 'no cash, no hash' goes out the window when the flirtatious China and Asia come calling and twist him round their little fingers. Other callers include Jenny, the constantly smashed childminder; the petty crook Colin; Asian DJ Kuldip; Craig, who seems to stalk Moz; Sungita, who uses dope to alleviate the pain of her MS; and the camp and sexually voracious gay guy Brian (played by the show's writer Graham Duff). The weirdest and most sinister visitor is Cartoon Head, who never speaks (he might be mute) and wears a cartoon mouse head. Moz seems oblivious to the fact that Cartoon Head is a raving psychopath who often dodges into the flat to dispose of evidence after one of his gruesome killings.
