Recap

The scene opens in Detroit one year ago. Two men talk and the older guy, Ben, offers a drink to his co-worker, Pauley. A car drives up and Ben tells Pauley to go home and says that he has it. Ben approaches the car and tells the men in the car to go inside. Ben shows that he has 100% copper for him. Pauley gets caught, shot and killed. The men ask Ben who he is and he tells that he is just a co-worker. The men tell Ben that he needs to think about their offer to move him up in the business. The next day at the Detroit FBI headquarters, Ben and his son Tom and daghter Celia are talking to Marshall and Mary and Celia can’t believe that Ben would launder money for the Lithuanian Mafia. He says that he made mistakes and needed the money. Marshall and Mary talk to the Cielia and Tom and tell that the Mafia is going to find them. However, Tom doesn’t want to enter the program and Ben tells Celia to go with Tom and his son. Ben gets the name Ben Karney and enters the WITSEC program...
