The scene opens in Korengal Valley, Afghanistan six months ago. First Sgt. John Shears and Sgt. Mike Loverro approach a Taliban group when they see Major Filk and Captain Barnes giving Claymore Mines to the Taliban. They leave and suddenly, the reinforcements arrive and kill the terrorists. However as they are trying to get out of dodge, Mike is shot in the helmet and goes down. John picks him up and carries him to safety. John is inducted into the WITSEC program with the name John Stills. Fast-forward to present day and Mary is at her desk and Stan tells that the job is worth it when they see someone who sees their commanding officer steal things and has to be forced into WITSEC. Mary says that it is better then Falutia. Marshall laughs and says that should be their bumper sticker. ..
