In The Flesh


In The Flesh is a drama series broadcast on BBC Three and tells the story of zombie teenager Kieren Walker (Luke Newberry) and his reintegration back into both the local community and his family.

Following his death four years ago, Kieren's friends and family believed that they’d never see him again. After his funeral though, thousands of people who have passed away came back to life as zombies. Following months of re-habilitation and medication, they are gradually allowed to return to their homes.

Steve and Sue continue to keep Kieren locked up in his room so they can send him to Norfolk. Meanwhile, when Simon goes missing, Zoe and the other followers go to the cemetery to start the Second Rising. Amy attends the Winter Fete with Phillip and tries to hide her improving condition, and Maxine prepares to sacrifice the First Risen.

An undead waitress on the Give Back scheme comes over to serve them and assures them that she's medicated. Once she leaves, Oliver tells Nina that she'd better have a hearty breakfast because she'll need it later when they get to Roarton.
