Inspector Gadget

Inspector Gadget

This is DiC's second animated series (with the first being The Littles) and it premiered in September of 1983.

Inspector Gadget was a clumsy, absent-minded detective. He had many gadgets built into him, such as: The Gadget Copter, which was a helicopter that came out of his hat giving him the power to fly, The Gadget Coat, which inflated when he pushed one of his jacket buttons allowing him to float in water. Some of his other gadgets included the Gadget Brella, The Gadget Phone and the Gadget Respirator. With the help of his niece Penny, and her dog Brain, Gadget did battle with the evil Dr. Claw and his goons.
