| Show Tidbits | In every episode the main character Jude Harrison is wearing a star shaped ring on her right middle finger. | Instant Star is filmed on same set as Degrassi and Carson High is the same school as Degrassi. | Even though Instant Star is owned by a Canadian broadcasting company (CTV) it is first shown in the US on The-N. About nine months later it is shown on CTV. | On the Instant Star soundtrack Speiderman (Tyler Kyte) and Karma (Cory Lee) will be performing most of her songs. | The song "Where does it Hurt" has snippets played throughout the whole season three, but isn't song until the finale. | Executive producer Stephen Stohn wanted to name the show "Hey Jude" after The Beatles song, but was advised against it by his copyright lawyers. Jude's first name is taken from the song and last name, Harrison, taken from Beatle's member George Harrison. The show contains numerous references to The Beatles throughout the show. |
