A hair demon named Yura attacks Kagome.

Inuyasha and Kagome meet a warrior named Amari Nobunaga, who is trying to save Princess Tsuyu.

Inuyasha and Kagome meet a fox demon, Shippo, who steals their jewel shards. He tells them he needs them so he can defeat the thunder brothers. Inuyasha decides that he will fight them instead.
