The Almighty Tallest are holding a grand event where they are selecting the most recent batch of Irken Invaders, the elite force that is selected to conquer and destroy planets in order to ensure the success of the Irken Empire. However, when an incompetent Irken soldier named ZIM arrives at the event and demands to become an Invader, he is sent to a planer that wasn’t thought to even exist. Complete with a malfunctioning SIR robot named GIR, ZIM heads off to the unknown planet with dreams of gaining the Almighty Tallest’s praise, though he soon discovers that this unknown planet is the most vile and disgusting thing he’s ever seen.
Things are going well for ZIM, though when his skool hosts a parent teacher night conference, ZIM realizes that he needs to have his robotic parents perform normally or risk having his disguise blown. Unfortunately, his robotic parents don’t act like humans at all, so he formulates a plan to teach them proper earth etiquette in order to make it through the event. Though when GIR interferes with ZIM’s plan, will his robotic parents still behave normally enough to deceive the humans at the conference?
ZIM has been upset over how incompetent GIR is, as GIR hasn’t been performing as well as typical SIR units should. In hopes of fixing GIR, ZIM installs a new computer chip inside of GIR and he takes him to the middle of the city in order to see if GIR can use his new abilities to find his way home. However, when ZIM realizes that GIR didn’t bring the computer chip with him, the two must try to find their own way home, all the while dealing with the disgusting and gross nature of a human city.
When ZIM is insulted because he doesn’t have any friends, he attempts to find a friend so that his disguise will be more complete. He eventually manages to find a friend, a boy named Keef, though Keef soon turns out to be more of a friend than he had hoped. Now ZIM must figure out a way to get the horrible boy from following him around, though will he be able to succeed in that task before Keef jeopardizes the secrecy of his mission?
When Dib manages to obtain a picture of ZIM without his disguise, ZIM must get the photo and destroy it at all costs. However, Dib has hidden the picture and ZIM is clueless as to where the picture may be, so he decides to use one of his inventions to shrink down and go inside of Dib’s body. ZIM plans on attacking Dib’s brain in order to cause him to forget where he hid the picture, though when Dib realizes ZIM’s presence, Dib takes one of his father’s inventions and tries to force ZIM to leave his body alone.
When GIR watches a movie that shows aliens being destroyed by germs, ZIM starts to panic because he realizes that germs exist all across the world. After purchasing a pair of germ-seeing goggles from an Irken network, ZIM sets off on his quest to rid the world of germs, though he soon discovers that germs are a bigger problem than he could have ever imagined.
When ZIM discovers that typical humans have plenty of organs inside of them, he becomes worried since the school’s nurse may realize he doesn’t have organs when she checks him for any illnesses. ZIM decides to steal as many organs as possible from the rest of the children at skool, though when Dib discovers what’s going on, he vows to stop ZIM at any cost.
After his ship is taken down after crashing into a bee, ZIM decides to leave his ship in the park in order to come back the next day and take it back to his headquarters. However, when he later discovers that the ship has been found by a cult known as the Children of the Bright and Sunny Saucer, he must try to get past them in order to gain access to his ship. Though when the group realizes he’s an alien, he contacts GIR in hopes of being rescued before they can unleash their unspeakable horrors upon him.
When it starts to rain while ZIM is at skool, Dib notices that ZIM is reluctant to step out in the rain. When Dib coaxes him into actually doing such, he realizes that water makes him burn and that all Irkens must actually have a natural weakness to water. In an attempt to make ZIM suffer, Dib exploits his weakness and gets him wet on several occasions, though it all leads up to the final water battle between Dib and ZIM to see who the supreme race actually is.
It’s Career Day at the skool and students must take a test in order to see which career they’re most suited for. ZIM is hoping to become the lord of all humans, though when he merely is assigned to work in the fast food industry, he reluctantly agrees to take the position in hopes of working his way up and becoming lord of all humans. Meanwhile, Dib gets assigned with a professional paranormal investigator, in which he discovers that ZIM is about to undergo some serious alien transformations and he makes an effort to convince his new partner to head towards ZIM’s restaurant in order to expose him in the middle of his transformation.
The Swollen Eyeball Network reluctantly agrees to permit Dib to reveal his findings on ZIM, though he must get a permission slip signed by his father in order to attend the event. However, when Professor Membrane is too busy in his studio, Dib must pass rigorous mental and physical challenges in order to get a chance to meet his father, though Gaz decides to make things difficult for Dib after he eats the last slice of pizza that she was getting ready to consume.
In hopes of getting rid of the disgusting children in his class, including Dib, ZIM decides to put a plan of his into motion. He has prepared a school bus with a robotic driver in order to take the children on a field trip into another dimension, in which he plans to seal the gate in order to prevent them from ever escaping. However, when Dib realizes ZIM’s plan, he must attempt to convince the other students that they need to do something in order to stay in this world, though his immense unpopularity soon proves to be a bigger obstacle than ZIM could ever be.
When Ms. Bitters’ class gets a new hamster as a pet, ZIM is amazed to discover how the hamster leaves the humans vulnerable due to its irresistible charm. ZIM decides to kidnap the hamster and genetically mutate it into a massive super hamster, in hopes of using it to destroy and conquer the world. However, when the hamster starts to behave against ZIM’s will, ZIM and Dib must reluctantly work together in order to prevent them from suffering too many losses.
While trying to repair something that broke in his house, ZIM accidentally causes GIR’s AI to be uploaded into the central component of the house. In hopes of getting GIR back into his body before he does anything stupid, ZIM tries to coax GIR into obeying him as he is his master, though GIR refuses to listen to him and he causes the entire house to gain legs as it marches towards the nearest Krazy Taco restaurant in hopes of getting some tacos to eat. ZIM becomes concerned since GIR’s behavior is seriously jeopardizing the secrecy of his mission, though will he be able to convince GIR to return to his real body?
ZIM creates a complex portal capable of sending things into the past in order to change the future, though when the robot he had planned to use in order to destroy a younger Dib proves to be incompatible with the portal, he angrily throws GIR’s rubber pig into the portal instead. However, upon doing such, he realizes that it has effectively caused Dib quite a lot of pain and it has caused the way he looks in the present, so ZIM decides to send as many rubber pigs into the portal in hopes of causing Dib to be removed from his pitiful existence once and for all.
When ZIM realizes that planet Earth is being planetjacked, he attempts to warn Dib in hopes of working together in order to save the planet that he wishes to destroy. However, when Dib refuses to believe him, ZIM heads out in his ship, along with GIR, in hopes of stopping the aliens from throwing Earth into a dying sun. However, despite his claims that the planet is under protection by the treaty they signed with the Irken Empire, the two aliens refuse to believe him and they merely toss him aside, which causes ZIM to contemplate using force as a means to persuade them.
After ZIM discovers that he has a pimple, he decides to do what he can to cover it up, as he’s seen commercials where people with pimples are instantly labeled as abnormal. However, when the acne removing cream he uses causes the pimple to grow in size, GIR decides to draw a little face on the pimple in order to make it look like a little man. ZIM is upset with this, though when the pimple suddenly gains the ability to hypnotize those who look at it, ZIM decides to use his pimple as a means to discover the flaw in his base’s security that Dib has recently been bragging about discovering.
After being seen by a human baby without his disguise, ZIM decides to try to see if there’s anything he can do to wipe the baby’s memory in order to prevent him from ever speaking about what he saw. However, he discovers that many of the babies in the buildings near where his base is aren’t what they appear to be, his entire mission is soon put in jeopardy and he must do everything he can to stop the babies.
It’s the one day of the year where Professor Membrane has time to bond with his children and Gaz is extremely happy about that fact, though when Dib goes missing during a raid at ZIM’s house, Professor Membrane expresses that he can’t leave without him. Gaz isn’t about to let her one day with her father be ruined because of Dib’s stupid belief, so she decides to head over to ZIM’s place and head into outer space in order to get her brother back in order to permit her to enjoy her time with her father at Bloaty’s Pizza Hog.
After being attacked with meat, ZIM decides to get his ultimate revenge on Dib, though Dib just thinks his ultimate revenge is nothing more than being tricked into sitting on a tack. However, when Dib begins to mutate into a living piece of bologna, he realizes that ZIM’s tack must have altered his DNA, though he formulates a plan to stick ZIM with the same tack in order to force him into finding a cure for the both of them.
When an annoying boy takes the last Game Slave 2 video game system due to Dib’s actions, Gaz throws Dib into the underground parking lot and she takes extreme measures in order to convince the annoying boy to hand over the game to her. Meanwhile, Dib must try to find his way out of the underground parking lot, which turns out to be full of mysterious individuals who claim that the darkness turned them into mole-people.
When Dib gets locked away in an insane asylum due to the fact that he’s been behaving more insane than usual, he manages to escape by entering a world that exists inside of his own mind, though he realizes that he may not be able to escape from the world that he entered. In an attempt to find a method to escape, Dib opens another portal which drags ZIM inside of the mysterious world, though will he actually be able to convince ZIM to work with him in order to get back to the real world?
Dib finally manages to get onto Mysterious Mysteries and he attempts to reveal the truth about ZIM, but ZIM decides to turn the tables on Dib by using the opportunity to make Dib seem like a bully. In order to help him out, ZIM gets GIR to disguise himself as a woman to confirm his story, though GIR’s story proves to be too bizarre to actually mean anything. It’s up to the host of Mysterious Mysteries to determine who is telling the truth in this bizarre case, though he isn’t even certain if any of the three are actually sane.
When Dib meets a version of himself who claims to be from the future, he takes the information he was told about and he rushes off in hopes of preventing ZIM’s latest and greatest scheme. However, when Dib arrives on the location, he discovers that he has actually fallen into one of ZIM’s traps and that ZIM is attempting to sabotage his father’s latest invention in hopes of destroying the world. Will Dib be able to escape from his prison in time to warn his father, or will the fate of the world need to be placed in another’s hands?
In hopes of gaining a mystery prize, ZIM decides to try to sell as many chocolate bars as possible in order to prove that he’s the best. Dib decides to sell chocolate bars as well, as he doesn’t want ZIM to succeed in his mission. However, ZIM discovers that he can’t sell any of the chocolate that he’s received, so he decides to employ Irken technology and old-fashioned fear mongering in order to try to turn the tides in his favor.
When ZIM sees an FBI warning at the beginning of a movie that GIR is watching, he takes the message too literally and he becomes paranoid. When he asks his computer about what the FBI is, it makes up information that claims it’s an alien hunting organization, so ZIM decides to take the video tape back to the mall in hopes of meeting with the FBI and putting an end to their existence once and for all. However, when he arrives at the mall, he discovers that his mission is going to go differently than he had anticipated.
ZIM heads to Mars in order to see what killed off their population, as he feels that he may be able to apply similar techniques to kill off Earth. However, when he discovers that Mars is actually a giant spacecraft, he decides to use it in order to squish all the being living on Earth. He reports his findings to the Almighty Tallest and they become quite ecstatic of the lunacy behind the idea, though when Dib discovers what ZIM is doing, he heads to Mercury in order to turn it into a spacecraft and stop ZIM from squishing all the life on Earth.
When ZIM and GIR get abducted by strange aliens who think they’re fine Earth specimens, ZIM attempts to reveal to them that he is actually an Irken. However, they refuse to believe him and they prepare to perform many pointless experiments on him in order to see what makes him tick, though he exploits their stupidity and he decides to try to escape from their ship. However, the two aliens aren’t about to repeat the same mistakes that they’ve made before, so they try to do everything in their power to keep ZIM and GIR from getting back down to the Earth’s surface.
When Dib is mocked for his study of paranormal investigation when Mysterious Mysteries hosts a story on Chicken Foot, he decides to find Chicken Foot in order to prove to the world that he doesn’t exist. However, he discovers that not too many people are willing to openly discuss Chicken Foot, though he manages to receive some information that reveals Chicken Foot lives in an apartment down the street. He prepares to speak with him and to get him to take his costume off, though will Chicken Foot be willing to acknowledge the fact that his life since he put on the costume was a lie?
The Almighty Tallest decide to send ZIM a box full of malfunctioning SIR units in order to cause him as many problems as possible, though when a rebel slave decides to switch two packages with one another, ZIM receives a Megadoomer Destruction Machine which is capable of annihilating entire planets, though he discovers that there’s no valid way of powering the machine. He decides to adapt the technology with Earth electricity and he manages to get the machine to work, in which he decides to immediately head to Dib’s home in order to destroy his archenemy once and for all.
When the skool suddenly gets hit with a lice infestation, Ms. Bitters calls in the lice authorities and they declare martial law over the entire skool zone. However, when it turns out that neither ZIM nor Ms. Bitters suffered from the lice, they decides to use ZIM as an experiment in order to try to find a cure that would instantly kill all the lice on a victim’s head. Meanwhile, Dib tries to escape from the skool since he doesn’t believe that they have any right to actually keep them there, though what he discovers about the lice startles him.
When a mysterious new girl arrives at the skool on Valentine’s Day, she gives all the students meat, except for ZIM, in which she decides to read him a love poem she wrote. ZIM decides to do what he can in order to fully gain the new girl’s affection in order to study Earth love, though he eventually decides that it’s nothing but trouble. However, when the new girl arrives at ZIM’s house and reveals herself to be another Irken, she destroys ZIM’s base and tells him that she’s taking over his job as Invader. Now, ZIM must convince Dib to help him defeat TAK if he ever wishes to be able to destroy planet Earth on his own.
ZIM is extremely disappointed in how GIR constantly misbehaves, so he finally repairs GIR’s broken components, which causes him to become a fully functional SIR unit. However, when GIR starts to consider ZIM’s ignorance to be a threat to the mission, he betrays his master and charges into the local library in order to absorb as much knowledge about the human race as he can, as he wishes to complete the objective on his own. Now, it’s up to ZIM and a police officer who has the mind of a squid to try to stop GIR and convince him to go back to his foolish old ways.
When Dib meets a pair of aliens who grant him supernatural abilities, he manages to defeat ZIM once and for all and he decides to use his abilities for the greater good of mankind. After Dib continuously proves himself after each extraordinary event, he realizes that the Irken Armada is on their way and he gets ready to destroy them in order to save the Earth and the universe. However, something about Dib’s life seems a bit too wonderful, in which ZIM soon proves to have more control over his destiny than he had originally thought.
In order to get his weaponry requests fulfilled by the Almighty Tallest, ZIM agrees to undergo military training at Hobo 13. However, the Almighty Tallest don’t expect ZIM to live and they begin to take wagers on how he’ll go about dying, though they force a waiter to bet a ludicrous amount of money on ZIM’s survival, in order to ensure that all the betters will actually win something. However, ZIM’s unique style of leadership soon proves to be more successful than the Almighty Tallest had hoped, so it’s up to Sergeant Hobo 678 to prevent ZIM from actually completing the gauntlet.
While trying to perform an experiment on Dib in order to appease the Almighty Tallest, an explosion occurs that causes Dib to break free. However, when ZIM realizes that there is actually a piece of explosion that is expanding at a very slow pace, he decides to go put it in the center of town in order to have the world gradually be destroyed as time progresses. Now, it’s up to a very slow moving Dib to warn the world of ZIM’s plans, though when ZIM becomes impatient over how slowly things are going, he decides to try to speed things up.
A robotic snowman named Sludgy is telling the children of the future a story about the most horrible Christmas ever. He speaks back on how ZIM, GIR and Minimoose were on the streets trying to get money from people, though their attempts weren’t too successful. However, after witnessing a bunch of humans give money to a man dressed as Santa Claus, ZIM decides to exploit the humans’ weakness of Santa and he formulates a master plan to use Christmas to his advantage and take over the world. However, Dib refuses to let that happen and he plans on exposing the false Santa Claus for what he really is, though he receives some unexpected assistance from his family.
ZIM is ecstatic because the Almighty Tallest are very close to Earth and they’re capable of coming there in order to see him. However, the Almighty Tallest aren’t interested in seeing ZIM and they’re more interested in squishing some rebels that have suddenly attacked them. However, when ZIM formulates a plan to take control of The Massive in an attempt to force the Almighty Tallest to come visit him, he puts the lives of the Almighty Tallest in jeopardy as the rebel group decides to exploit the opportunity to attack and possibly destroy The Massive while she’s most vulnerable. Tallest Red and Tallest Purple do everything they can to take back control of the ship, though they aren’t too pleased when they discover that ZIM is behind the events that are taking place.
In hopes of putting an end to ZIM’s schemes, Dib summons a supernatural creature named Mortos der Soulstealer, who steals souls in order to gain more power. However, when Mortos proves to be less professional than Dib had expected, he tries to coax him into unleashing the full might of his power against ZIM. Meanwhile, ZIM and GIR are attempting to unleash their next evil ploy to take over the world, though Dib doesn’t quite understand what exactly it is that they’re supposed to be doing.
Dib finally managed to get video surveillance inside of ZIM’s home and he is more than willing to share his discovery with the rest of the Swollen Eyeball Network. However, when it appears that all ZIM is doing today is eating some of the waffles that GIR has been making for him, the Swollen Eyeball Network refuses to take Dib’s claims seriously. However, it doesn’t take long for some bizarre yet unrelated events to take place that causes ZIM’s day to be anything but ordinary.
ZIM is surprised when a girl scout comes to his home in order to sell him cookies, so he activates his garden gnomes and they proceed to remove her from the premises. However, when the girl gets her leg stuck in a hole on his property, the entire world starts to watch the event and ZIM is worried that the extra attention could jeopardize his mission. Dib contemplates trying to use the extra media attention to his advantage as well, though when ZIM makes the first move and attempts to trick President Man into doing something that could destroy the world, Dib must do everything he can to convince President Man to try a more reasonable rescue mission.
Dib decides to upload his personality into the Irken ship that he had stolen from Tak. However, when the ship starts to think its human and that it is the real Dib, he must find a way to get the ship to realize that he is nothing more than a ship. When ZIM realizes what Dib has done, he decides to exploit the opportunity in order to override Dib’s ship and force it to destroy Dib, though Dib feels that he may just be able to reason with the ship, since it does have his exact personality.
After a dodgeball accident, Dib is forced to go to the guidance counselor, in which he expresses to the counselor that he’ll just mock him and call him crazy if he told him what happened. However, when the guidance counselor carefully listens to Dib and even agrees with him, the two decide to team up in order to catch ZIM and prove that he’s an alien. Dib runs off in order to prepare for their plan and to trick ZIM into arriving at the prepared location, though the guidance counselor proves to have his own tricks up his sleeve.
The school elections are taking place and ZIM decides to run for the position in order to be one step closer to acquiring world domination. However, Dib doesn’t want to let that happen and he decides to help Willy, ZIM’s competitor, win the election through telling him what exactly he needs to say. As Election Day draws near, the two groups start to say more and more outrageous things in an attempt to curry the favor of the voters, though neither of them realizes what horrible fate lies in wait for them if they actually do win the election.
When Dib discovers that one of his old spell drives has two points left on it, he decides to try to cast a spell on himself in order to try to gain some abilities to defeat ZIM. However, when he’s uncertain what the spells do, he decides to cast one on Gaz in order to try to see what happens with her, in order to determine if he wishes to cast the spell on himself. When Gaz awakes the next morning, she discovers that everything she eats tastes like pork, though when she discovers that Dib is responsible, she demands that he finds a cure or risk an eternity of suffering her wrath.
When Sizz-Lorr captures ZIM and takes him back to Foodcourtia in order to continue his banishment, ZIM decides to do what he can in order to escape. However, since his last escape from the planet, several new security features have been installed that may actually prevent him from ever getting back to Earth. As the Great Foodening is drawing near, ZIM must try to fight back Sizz-Lorr and escape from the planet or risk losing his valuable position as an Irken Invader. Meanwhile, GIR lets Dib into ZIM’s house and Dib tries to figure out more about the Irken race and its leaders.
