| In season three, the gang's antics get even more extreme, including raising a baby they found in the dumpster, almost getting whacked by the mob, opening a sweatshop, forming a band, and trying to clean up the streets of Philadelphia.
There are also a lot of familiar faces. The McPoyles return, and we get a chance to meet the whole screwed-up clan. Rickety Cricket later shows up, a homeless street rat. Since leaving the church, things have not gone well for him. Mac again dates Carmen the transsexual, but his unwillingness to be seen in public with her results in the two breaking up. Dennis and Dee's mom dies, bringing Bruce back into the picture. Mac's father gets released from prison, but he gets sent back thanks to a mistake on Mac's part.
The season culminates in the gang almost losing the bar when Charlie accidentally puts it up as a prize for a dance marathon. The waitress and Rickety Cricket enter the competition to try and screw over the guys by winning. Luckily, Frank's inside horse, a homeless man, is the last man standing. | |
