	Cmdr. Sturgis Turner [Season 7-10], played by Scott Lawrence Cmdr. Sturgis Turner has a just an interesting background as Cmdr. Rabb. He is the son of a Naval Preacher, and served in the Navy’s “silent service” or the nuclear submarine service, until becoming a lawyer and joining JAG. His submarine background makes it somewhat difficult for him to easily fit into the overtly open interpersonal relationships that exist at JAG. However, Cmdr. Turner soon proves he is a force to be reckoned with in the court room, even when he is opposing the likes of Cmdr. Rabb and Lt. Col. McKenzie.
