	R. Adm. Albert Jethro "AJ" Chegwidden [Season 2-9], played by John M. Jackson (1) A former Navy SEAL (SEa Air Land) who saw service in Vietnam, R. Adm. Albert Jethro "AJ" Chegwidden has risen faster to Admiral than many more senior officers, due to his aggressive style. As the new head of JAG, Chegwidden shows he is a no nonsense leader. He trusts his people, but sometimes must but heads with them in order to get the results he desires.
