I loved this series, but, apparently, was one of few. The chemistry between the two lead characters, Jack and Bobby, was perfect. The dynamic between the boys and their mother was unconventional, to say the least, but watching their mother mold them, and then seeing the men they will become via fast-forwarding and foreshadowing made this series one of a kind.
Each part of the episode in some way affected the presidency that one of the boys will have. The events were shown through dialog by a close friend of the president’s or a family member. This gave the series a documentary feel, which I enjoyed quite a bit. But it was underappreciated and had only a one season run. Luckily, the series was able to have a satisfying ending, but it ended too soon.
