When Jenny (Jenny McCarthy) inherits a property in Hollywood, she and her her friend, Maggie (Heather Paige Kent) decide to quit their jobs to move there. Once they get there, they have to rent the guest house to aspiring, yet struggling, filmakers just to make the mortgage. Jenny seeks out her father (George Hamilton), whom she has never met before, to try to have a daddy/daughter bond.

Created by Mark Reisman, the series survived one season and was meant to be a hit comedy series. 'Jenny' attempted to entertain the masses.

When Guy gets dropped by his agent he becomes depressed and doesn't want to leave the house, or his bed. Hoping to get him out of his funk Jenny convinces two fans to give him an award. Meanwhile Maggie buys a new car but unfortunately it's a stick shift, which neither she nor Jenny know how to drive.
