so i taped this and caught it today. it wasn't bad. i'm glad to see that they got the father-son conflict in quick and that they got the explosion over fast. it's interesting in that you don't know what's going on outside of the town. so far there were two blasts - one in denver area and one in atlanta area. the boy getting that message of his mother dying was creepy. Gerald McRaney as the mayor was exceptional. he always does top notch work.
the children on the bus were very good. a lot of times the children can't hold a scene together, but they did a fantastic job. the boy behind the girl who bruised her larynx way really good.
overall a pretty good episode. it left with plenty of intrigue and i'm curious where this is going to go. hopefully the quality will stay at a high level. |

i'm still fuzzy with everyone's name. i think dale is the kid that works in the store and if it is, it was his mother on the answering machine leaving the message when the explosion went of in Atlanta. that of course is if dale turner is who i think it is. i'm about 75% sure. |

I wasn't actually planning on watching this show, I was just flipping through the channels. Luckily I caught it right when it started.
It's actually a pretty good show. The way the episode ended makes we want to watch more, so I'll be tuning in next week for sure.
I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of those prisoners that where on the other bus that crashed. I'm guessing there where probably more explosions other than the ones in Denver and Atlanta too.
I'm glad I saw the first episode and not the 2nd or 3rd and then have no idea of what's going on. |

Hey,
Great new show, really enjoyed it. But I managed to miss the last five or so minutes! Can anyone out there enlighten me? Please? I am pretty sure I got all the main plot, but the last thing I saw was the Mayor having a word to Jake in the ambulance. |

I'll watch this show again but so far I wasn't greatly impressed. The bus almost out of gas scene seemed to be a filler and was unrealistic. This was a school trip and thus planned - supposedly. I also found it hard to believe that a bus load of criminals were going thru town and no-one knew about it. I'm looking forward to another show but not concerned if I miss it. I think to many elements were introduced in the first show, they didn't need the criminal problem - yet. |

I believe the bus was headed for a garage after experiencing technical difficulty. It was bound for the closest one since they did not want to risk standing all those kids, a wise move on their part.

Not sure about you, but it doesn't make much sense to me to advertise the transfer of prisoners across a desolate rural route. That puts the risk of interception by undesirables unacceptably high by my standards. Prisoner transfers are often planned well in advance, but unadvertised to all but the necessary staff to facilitate it. |
