again, i liked the episode. what is hawkins, and i guess vic, up to? what the are they hiding. i thought they would find someone still alive at the lake. what happened to shep? if vic didn't do it, i'm still undecided, then who smashed the window? i can see anyone trying if they saw a truck that was running. and really, how stupid was the guy for hitting the cap off the container they carried the gas in?

At first I thought they might be in the witness protection program, but after we met Vic I'm thinking they were part of a governmental organization that found out about the attacks and couldn't do a thing to stop it because of such short notice? Only say that because he seems to know a lot and be rather helpful. That and Vic went back into Denver to help people and saying I couldn't let them all die I had to help some people. Thats the impression I got so it could be that or or an incredibly elaborate ploy.

Although that doesn't quite fit now that I say it because Mr. Franklin has got the boxes in his house to show that he was preparing for some time. I'm interested to see some more outside of Jericho. I like how they have the Bar, and that is kind of a central point of information gathering. If I were the mayor I'd take it over since it has satellite and a good source of poteintial information.

Any guesses as to who's done it?

I'm loving this show... it's great. I'm not sure what Hawkins is up to, but i'm pretty sure he's a good guy. They are certainly playing it well, the ambiguity is killing me. I guess maybe I just want him to be a good guy. Interesting that he had what seemed to be an EMP protected laptop (judging from the exterior, nothing else). I'm not sure how his character will play out from here. The rest of the show is great, but I really watch for the last few minutes of each episode when they put the twist on Hawkins.

I'm really wishing that you could buy the DVD set early! I hate TV in real time!

Hawkins is the only interesting person on the show. I do hope it gets better as I love the idea, just not the show.

Who done it is a good question.

Actually that laptop is called a tough book you can buy them, I've played with one and they are really neat... not exactly sure if they're EMP Protected.... BUT! He has communication with the outside world or whatever nefarious organization he belongs too. Which I found to be rather interesting.

Hey there.
First time on here, thought I would get involved with this forum, since none of my friends can be bothered to watch netwrk TV. lol.

anyways, I have been watching this series since it started, and I like it so far.. Hopefully it won't ge too hokey or anything. As for my theory... I think that there was some kind of conspiracy that Hawkins knew about, or was even involved in.... witness protection is definately out, since he knew Victor from the newest episode. Did anyone else think that that scene with Hawkins and his daughter was just evil.... I mean he is basically telling her that if she leaes the house again, he is gonna do very very bad things, but still hugs her as if nothing is wrong. yikes. anyways, good so far. the next episode looks good. would love to hear what they condiser a automated message from Homeland Security to be... lol if it is anything more than "duck and Cover" I'll be amazed.

also, one other thing that maybe some of you can help me out with.... the producers interview on the main Jericho website talk about a seperate storyline that is going to be on the web.... basically things that will tie into the main show. I can't seem to find anything about it. have any of you heard of this? Always like to see things like that. gives some of us net junkies something else to do with our time.

Hawkins is definitely a bad person and I'm not even sure those are his real kids. Homeland Security message is probably something about hurricane warnings.

ok, that dudr pull up a ToughBook, plug in a WiFi and he can transmit?????
Cities have beeen nuked, phones are down, they are in the middle of the desert but the WiFi is working?? c'mon!

(and no, that plugin is not a satellite antenna, real e-card for sat are 10 times that size)

For me this guy is definitly a sleeper from a terrorist cell infiltrated to look causual, and definitly related to the bombs, but not a commun terror cell, this really smells like a rightwing or a cult thing who decided to "cleanse the country". To be more clear: if a country like north korea would strike USA in deep, that's exatly how they would place their operatives, hidden in plain sight, until.....it's too late to stop them.

As much as I distrust the extreme right (of any religion or any country) I'm not sure it was them.... yet. But I don't have a good first choice and that bothers me, maybe after a few more shows.

(Wow, there sure are alot of new users in this forum)

To be honest, I was expecting more out of this episode. More suspense. It was good, but not as good as it could have been in my opinion.

I felt slitly the same way there does seem to be something missing with it but I can't quite put my finger on it. Perhaps it is that these types of shows usually make me feel a tad nervous or something like that and it isn't.

You're nervous because you know we have a crazy president in office that calls everyone he doesn't like "Evil" and that makes THEM nervous.
