Jesse

Christina Applegate, fresh off her success on Married...With Children stars as single mother, Jesse Warner, making her way through life by working at her father's bar, all while raising her son, Little John, and studying to get into nursing school. Along with her are her two best friends, Carrie and Linda, and her father and her two dysfunctional brothers. She also develops an on and off relationship with her Chilean neighbor, Diego. In the second season, she gets accepted into nursing school, and gets a new job as a nurse's aide. It is there that she meets her co-workers Dr. Dan, and Kurt, the nurse, whom she butts heads with a lot.

Despite very good ratings, NBC still canceled the series after two seasons. Repeats were shown for quite some time on the USA Network, as well as a short stint on the ABC Family Channel. However, this series is not currently being shown on television in the US or Canada.
