Episode Summary

Single mother Amy Gray, an attorney, is reeling after her recent divorce. In order to start over, she and her daughter, Lauren, move back home to Hartford, Connecticut and live with Amy's very opinionated mother and social worker, Maxine. In Hartford, Amy gets a job as Juvenile Court Judge, but her new career and home will be more of a challenge than any she has ever faced before.
