When Maya finds her self out of a job, she has no other choice but to ask the one person she never wanted to ask: her father, Jack. Once there, she must deal with the competition from Jack's current employees: Nina, the fasion editor, who believes Maya is there for her job. Elliot, the head photographer, who hates how Maya hates his attitude towards women, and Finch, Jack's secretary, who fears Maya will replace him as Jack's "go to guy" (or gal in this case). But most of all Maya must deal with her hatred towards her father, and everything he stands for.

Finch thinks Elliot only gets his girls because of his job, and to prove he doesn't Elliot must get a girl of the same "magnitude" under the name of a different job...chosen by Finch.
