Real Name: Ted Grant
History: Ted Grant was once the World’s Heavyweight Boxing Champ and as Wildcat he trained of some of the world’s greatest fighters, such as Black Canary. At some point, he became involved in Roulette’s underground fighting arena called Meta-Brawl, mainly because he felt diminished and misused for being one of the few non-super-powered members of the Justice League Unlimited. Black Canary was worried that he might be expelled from the League, so she and Green Arrow confronted Wildcat, but failed to dissuade him from taking part in the Meta-Brawl. He was given the chance to bail out if Black Canary could defeat him in a fight, or to be left alone in case he defeated her. However, Green Arrow was the one who ended up fighting Wildcat, who thrash him around so much up to the point of smilingly killing him. Fortunately, Green Arrow wasn’t really dead; he had only used a stunner that put him in "metabolic stasis". However, the vision of this apparent dead was enough for Wildcat to come to his senses and quit Meta-Brawl. He also enrolls in therapy with J’onn so as ensure his mental stability. |
