| 1 :01x01 - Secret Origins (1) (Nov/17/2001) | | Batman investigates a Wayne Tech Metropolis Sub-station and there he finds alien activity. Three fake technicians send a signal from Sub-station’s satellite dish. Batman tries to stop them, but he’s overwhelmed by their superior strength. Meanwhile, Superman undertakes a plan designed by Senator Carter to disarm the world. Batman pursues his investigations at an abandoned STAR laboratory, and at that same night, a fiery meteor-like object crashes in a nearby park. An alien tripod war-machine emerges from inside the meteor and begins destroying everything in its way. Batman and Superman try to fight this menace off, but the Man of Steel is assaulted with overwhelming telepathic images that hold him back.
