Episode Quotes |

Tala: (picking up the Brainiac component) This is the real trouble here before us. It's pure wild goose chase! Look, I will prove it. I will show you what is in there!
Luthor: Don't be stupid! This is science. What good is your sorcery? Unless you plan to turn stone to gold! Or maybe a frog!?
Tala: Such ignorance! Transmutation is what you want to do!
Luthor: Transmutation is... what are you waiting for? Do it!
Tala: Okay!
Luthor: Okay! | Tala: By the slaughter of the innocent... by pestilence and plague... reveal the hidden unto me... there. You see? Just a rock. A worthless piece of... oh? | Tala: You saw the wild goose again! Concentrate on us, baby! Space is too far! Together we can rule this world! | Luthor: I've reconfigured Grodd's cloaking field into a hyper-spatial drive!
Killer Frost: You're not serious?
Luthor: Little bit. | (The secret base enters hyperspace)
Grodd: Why is my headquarters moving? | Grodd: I'm not some monkey in a zoo throwing...
Tala: Shhh... | Tala: I don't like to compete for Lex with a dead computer. I want you to be my man in charge, like before. So... baby... what do you want?
Grodd: Why, only you, my dear. And Luthor's fat head on a plate. | Tala: (attacking Giganta) Don't get crabby, Thunderthighs, Grodd is mine now. | Toyman: (humming "Mary Had A Little Lamb") Around the world.
(Yo-Yo strikes Killer Frost)
Toyman: Rock the cradle!
(Yo-Yo strikes Killer Frost again this time she faints)
Toyman: Sleeper. | Grodd: This mutiny was so easy. The Secret Society hates you.
Luthor: Like they love you. | Luthor: Goodbye, Grodd. It could have gone the other way.
Grodd: It really could have, couldn't it?
Luthor: No, but why speak ill of the dead? (ejects him into space) | (Lex Luthor to the villains who betrayed him)
Lex Luthor: Can any of you give me one good reason to let you live?
(Killer Frost steps out and freezes all that betrayed Lex)
Lex Luthor: Killer Frost. You've got a future, get rid of the rest. | (Tala pleads with Lex to spare her life)
Tala: Darling, Grodd must of used mind control... Okay, maybe not, but baby, you don't ever doubt that I love you, correct? I'm a sick person, you don't know what it's like to be me. | Tala: You planned this along. Even before I...
Luthor: I'm a sick person, too. | Metron: We exist between two ticks of the clock. In my travels through the myriad paths of infinity, I have seen the first and the last, but what you do today threatens the entire universe; past, present, and future.
Luthor: I should hope it does. | Luthor: Well, Metron, I'll soon be able to handle anything the universe throws at me. I'm about to become a god.
Metron: You don't know what a god is, or what you are unleashing.
Luthor: "Tampering with forces beyond my control," nice try. Look, if you want my power, make your move, otherwise you can get lost.
Metron: You will regret your decision, we all will. | Toyman: Twinkle, twinkle, Brainiac, Tala's gonna bring you back! | (awaiting Brainiac's return)
Lex Luthor: People? Meet your new lord and master...
(smoke clears)
Darkseid: It seems I have you to thank for my resurrection. Though your world will suffer slowly, I grant you a quick death.
(the entire ship explodes) | Bernadeth: That rodent Vundabar thinks he can rule Apokolips in Darkseid's stead. We'll be the ones who deliver his pestilent corpse to Granny Goodness! | Darkseid: Only the slimmest of chances has allowed me to overcome my death at the hands of Superman. But let the universe howl in despair for I have returned. |

Episode Goofs |
| |
Toyman cracked his head-mask when he got caught in a battle with Killer Frost, but toward the end when the cut to a scene with him and the rest of the villains there’s no crack on his head whatsoever. | At the end, when the heroes are called by the Watchtower Ops Tech, Orion is seen next to S.T.R.I.P.E., and he also rushes outside along with the others, however, when it cuts to the next scene, he is absent from the lineup. In the opening credits for this episode he is in the line-up between Green Lantern and Batman, but at the end, there is a gap between those two, where Orion was cut off. | When Lex is asking the Legion of Doom members who sided with Grodd for a reason to let them live, we can see Lady Lunar, Major Disaster, Electrocutioner and Bloodsport on the side of those who fought alongside Lex. However, these four were seen earlier fighting Lex’s team. |
