  Episode Notes
This episode, part one, and part two are all considered to be the movie "Justice League."

This episode marks the last appearance of the White Martians.

In the comic-books, the Watchtower is located on the moon, not in the Earth's gravitational pull.

Justice League Roll Call: Batman, Superman, J'onn, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, and Hawkgirl.

  Episode Quotes
The Flash: (about J'onn) Is it just me, or does he creep you out too?

Superman: You shouldn’t have risked your lives for us.
J’onn: Would you have done less for me?

(Seeing their Headquarters)
Superman: Do your stockholders know about this, Bruce?
Batman: A line item hidden in the aerospace R&D budget.

Superman: I once thought I could protect the world by myself, but I was wrong. Working together, we saved the planet, and I believe that if we stayed together as a team, we could be a force that could truly work for the ideals of peace and justice.
The Flash: What like a bunch of 'super friends'?
Superman: More like a Justice League.

Batman: I'm not really a people person. But when you need help . . . and you will, call me.

J'onn: My family and loved ones are long gone. I am the last of my kind.
Superman: I know the feeling.

  Episode Goofs
In this episode we find out that the invaders are vulnerable to sunlight. Bearing this in mind, how did the alien posing as Carter get by for two years?

Why is Green Lantern unable to use his ring while strapped in the alien substance? Also, why didn’t Superman attempt to break free of that entrapment by using his heat-vision sooner?

When Superman attempts to rescue the people trapped in pods, two aliens run up to him and start shooting. These aliens walk into the sunlight, but it doesn’t affect them. And in the next shot, they are back in darkness without having moved from when they were previously standing.

When the alien ship escapes and the League is lined-up standing atop the Daily Planet, Hawkgirl’s pants are missing.

  Cultural References
The Flash: Buh-bye.

This was a popular catchphrase uttered by David Spade on Saturday Night Live in the "Airline Stewardess" skits.

The Flash: What like a bunch of 'super friends'?

This is an in-joke referring to the SuperFriends, an animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera which ran from 1973 to 1985. It was something like and adaptation of the Justice League comic to television featuring Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and other sidekicks such as the Wonder Twins. The Super Friends' headquarter was the Hall of Justice which was also a place for meetings.
