Still unconvinced of the prosecution’s accusations, Superman and J’onn decide to investigate the facts for themselves. In the meanwhile, the Flash attempts to delay the trial, and Hawkgirl tries to enlist John's fellow Green Lanterns’ help with very unconventional methods. Superman, J’onn, and Hawkgirl come to the conclusion that John has been framed, and this whole ordeal turns out to be a ploy to drive the Guardians of the Universe away from Oa for some obscure reason.

Flash: A big scary one. |

| The Flash: If the ring wasn't lit, you must acquit!
This is a parody of O.J. Simpson’s trial lawyer statement: "If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit!" |
