| Grodd: It must pain you to see me like this, after what we’ve been to one another.
Tala: My taste in boyfriends has evolved. | Sinestro: (to Lex) After Grodd tried to turn the world into apes, you can imagine how seriously we take something like that. What are you going to do, make everybody bald? | The Flash: Just be careful with my head – it’s where I keep all my one-liners. | Lex-in-Flash: Beam me out of here, or I’m going to vibrate these fingers and scramble your brains. | Flash-in-Lex: (looks in a mirror) Aaah, that is just wrong! | Dr. Polaris: Are you gonna wash your hands?
Flash-in-Lex: No… (smirks) 'cuz I'm evil! | Flash-in-Lex: My fellow bad guys, I, Lex Luthor, your leader, will speak now about my, Lex Luthor’s plan. My… villainous, villainous plan. Question the plan at your peril. Huuuh. Any questions?
Angle Man: We all get a cut, right?
Flash-in-Lex: Watch your step, my evil minion. You presume too much! One of these days, you’ll go too far. | Bizarro: Me got answer.
Flash-in-Lex: Excellent. Do enlighten us.
Bizarro: Ever since you plug into monkey's head, you act perfectly sane and rational. Am you Bizarro mommy? | Luthor-in-Flash: If nothing else, I can at least learn the Flash's secret identity. (unmasks) I have no idea who this is. | Flash-in-Lex: Me, the Flash? You’ve, like, totally lost it, Grodd. I'm Lex Luthor!
Grodd: And I'm Charlton Heston. | Grodd: Ah, Tala, my old groupie. I so miss bending you to my will.
Tala: Go eat a banana. | Mr. Terrific: (about Luthor-in-Flash) Dr. Fate, your patient just anesthetized himself. | Mr. Terrific: Can you tell us anything about Grodd’s secret society? Where’s their Head Quarters?
Flash: I don’t know. In a swamp... | Tala: Lex, is that really you?
Lex Luthor: Of course it’s me, you twit.
Tala: (disappointed) Ooh... |

| When Lex(Flash) and the Society arrive at the train, the wheels are going backwards |
| |
| The Great Train Robbery
This the name of the famous early Western film made by Edwin S. Porter back in 1903. | Grodd: And I'm Charlton Heston.
This is a humorous reference to Charlton Heston, an actor best known for staring in the movie Planet of the Apes and its sequel, Beneath the Planet of the Apes. Thirty years later, he played an ape on Tim Burton's remake of the original movie. |

| "Dead Reckoning"
Grodd: It must pain you to see me like this, after what we’ve been to one another.
Tala: My taste in boyfriends has evolved.
Tala was momentarily devoted to Grodd after him rescuing her from his mirror entrapment. However, when Luthor took control of operations, Tala placed her loyalties on him. Sinestro: (to Lex) After Grodd tried to turn the world into apes, you can imagine how seriously we take something like that. | "Secret Society (1)"
Mr. Terrific: We need to find this new Secret Society and take the fight to them.
The first Secret Society was the first group of Supervillains brought together by Gorilla Grodd with the sole purpose of bringing the Justice League down. Its member included Grodd, as the leader, Giganta, Sinestro, Parasite, The Shade, Killer Frost and Clayface. | "The Brave and the Bold (1)"
Mr. Terrific: When Grodd took control of your mind a couple of years ago, even though that connection was broken, he left a psychic residence. | "To Another Shore"
The Flash: This really seems like it’s more of J’onn’s alley.
Green Lantern: J’onn’s not here.
J’onn left the League to mingle within humanity. | "The Brave and the Bold (2)"
Grodd: (to Flash-in-Lex) True, I do hate Luthor. But I hate you just as much.
Grodd hatred towards the Flash is due to him (the Flash) foiling his plans and shortcircuiting his brain. |
