An unlikely duo, Marlin Boulet and Trevor Cobb, take the streets of New Orleans, battling a surge of violence while lacking the basics, including a large force and crime labs. Only few cops remain after Katrina, but those who remain have a strong passion to rebuild and protect the city they love.

A jailbreak thrusts the NOPD cops into a manhunt in which unconventional means leads Cobb and Boulet to the Louis Armstrong Airport. There, obstacles get in the way of their search and Cobb is tested. Meanwhile, Embry and Boulet deal with the frustration surrounding Criminal Sheriff Terrence DeVille.

Boulet and Cobb look into the death of a prominent cosmetic surgeon who has been beaten. Meanwhile, Boulet makes more time to spend with his daughter.
8 :01x08 - Flood, Wind, and Fire
Boulet and Cobb investigate an insurance adjuster's murder. Meanwhile, Charlie returns to the force and Cobb gets friendly with the fire marshal.
9 :01x09 - Boulet in a China Shop
Boulet and Cobb are put in charge of an investigation after a shooting occurs in a warehouse housing Mardi Gras floats. Meanwhile, controversy abounds when it's discovered that Boulet knew one of the shooting suspects.
10 :01x10 - Ride Along
A New York City newspaper reporter accompanies Boulet and Cobb as they investigate a murderous drug dealer.
