Brandtner goes undercover in gaol, pretending to be a criminal in order to get additional evidence about a fellow prisoner.
In order to get closer to the prisoner, Brandtner stages a gaol break with him, and both men end up at Brandtner's house with Böck and Rex, with Höllerer keeping contact by phone.
When the prisoner leaves, it is Rex who tracks him down before he manages to blow up a kindergarten with high explosives.
