Karl Lewis Miller, the owner of the Los Angeles based 'Animal Action' died early in 2008 of cancer. He was 67 years of age. He was involved with his daughter Teresa Ann Miller in training the various dogs who appeared in Kommissar Rex. Mr. Miller had trained numerous animals for film, his favourite graduate from 'Animal Action' being Scruffy, the wire haired fox terrier who appeared in the TV Series The Ghost And Mrs. Muir.
