Legion of Super Heroes

Legion of Super Heroes

Legion of Super Heroes is a show done by creative minds that worked on Justice League Unlimited and Teen Titans. 1, 000 years from now, there exists a team of superheroes that protect the entire universe. To bolster their power, the team decided to go back to the days of Superman and recruit him to be a member of their team. They bring him forward into the future and after aiding them in a crisis, Superman decides to remain with them once they assure him they can return him to his own times seconds after he left.

In Season 2, Kell-El, a cloned Superman from the 41st century, comes to the 31st century along with Imperiex, a tyrant intent on conquering the galaxy. The Legion must aid him before Imperiex destroys everything and everyone they know.

Legion of Super Heroes debuted on the twenty third of September. This series airs alongside the other CW Superhero cartoon The Batman.

A good, if not literally faithful, adaptation...Rating: 0 likes, 1 dislikes

Loosely based on the classic comic book series, LSH is an excellent animated series considering a large part of its target audience is in the 8-12 age range. It's no Bullwinkle, but it kicks Captain Planet's butt. Read more

2x13: Dark Victory (2) recap: Brainiac 1.0 and Brainiac 5 have merged into Braioniac 6, and attack the planet Thanagar. When the Thangarians resist, Brainiac 6 digitizes them into discrete data and stores them away. The Legion can only watch from the scene of their last battle as Brainiac 6 departs for Colu, then try to warn the planet's High Council. They believe they can take care of Brainiac 6 on their own and ignore the Legionnaires' warning. He can only remove them by completing a trial. Suddenly Mordru, a powerful sorcerer, enters the chambers. He was banished by the council and stripped of his powers, but overcame them by using the Lamentation Particle, an ancient relic. He easily entraps the High Council and begins to strip them of their bodies. They teleport Zyx away to find help, and he ends up on a Legion Cruiser and tries to explain what happened. They don't trust him but at Superman's insistence they go to investigate and ask Zyx to teleport them. That's when they learn he has lost his powers... read more.
