I have to say, I really didn't care for this episode at all. For me, the show works best when it is dosed with lots of humor, and tonight there just wasn't any.
It was too much. Mary murdering her father? I just don't buy it. Sam in a box? Dumb. Danny being called to replace a fellow soldier? The military doesn't work that way. Delinda pregnant? Okay, that makes sense. But the idea of The helpless girls and the big brave men having to save them just kind of annoyed me. I don't see how they're going to wrap any of this up to a satisfying conclusion with Ed and Mary leaving. What, is Mary gonna go to jail, or a mental institution? I didn't like it. |
