Welcome to the Montecito Hotel & Casino, one of Las Vegas' finest establishments. This is also the worst day of Danny McCoy's life. Danny is an ex-marine who works for Ed Deline and the Montecito Surveillance Team.
Danny's day starts off when Ed catches him in bed with his daughter, Delinda. Things only get worse for Danny as he must handle a drugged up bum who is on a winning streak, find one of the casino's high rollers who has disappeared, and figure out how the big winner on the blackjack table is cheating.
Just another day at the Montecito...
Danny receives bad news when he finds out that his friend Greg is the mysterious dead body in the desert. Ed gets a visit from Senator Bill Henderson, an outspoken conservative. He goes on record fighting against casinos yet makes regular trips to the Montecito. There is also a reporter hot on the Senator's trail. Danny must stop him from exposing the Senator’s true self. A crazy King Arthur impersonator shows up to perform at the Montecito.
During Ferrari weekend, Danny and Ed get suspicious when a high roller cashes in forty grand but doesn't gamble a single dollar. They suspect him of money laundering. Danny must find out what he is up to, while handling the fact that Delinda has dumped him. Ed's goofy cousin Donny shows up at the casino and is getting married to the girl of his dreams that he just met at the roulette wheel. He asks Ed to be his best man.
Danny and Ed catch a bumbling cheater and realize that he is just a pawn in a cheating ring. They want to use him to find out who his leader is. Meanwhile, Nessa has joined this cheating ring to get her cut of a $10 million blackjack tournament. Not only do Danny and Ed have to stop the mysterious leader of a cheating ring, but the best pit boss in Vegas too. Mary becomes friendly with the hotel psychic, Anton. He predicts that someone will die at his next performance and Mary takes him seriously. Delinda starts her new job at the Carinthia restaurant.
The Montecito is filled with sci-fi geeks and beautiful girls in bikinis, all there to celebrate the end of summer.
Danny and Ed must hunt down a sexual predator who is preying on woman at the casino, including Delinda. Taking it personally, Ed refuses to tell the police and is determined to get revenge.
Three MIT students, and their many bags filled with high tech equipment, make Danny and Mike suspicious.
Ed decides to take a trip to Hawaii with Jillian and leaves Danny in charge of the Montecito. Danny's dreams have come true until a freak computer glitch locks several hundred guests out of their hotel rooms. Everything is going wrong for Danny the minute Ed leaves.
Sam does everything she can to make a big-time couple from Chicago happy. Mike becomes the good luck charm for a down-and-out gambler in need of a hot streak.
A woman uses Delinda's sympathy against her when she cons her into exchanging fake chips for cash. The con artist continues to prey on unsuspecting Montecito guests. Sam becomes more of a chaperone than a host for two men who are well known for the insatiable thirst for gambling. Meanwhile, Mary helps out down-on-their-luck couple by getting them tickets to see Wayne Newton.
Janet Ellis, a music legend, decides to hold her return concert at the Montecito. Mary becomes Janet's chaperone while Ed reunites with his lustful former CIA partner, who now works security for Janet Ellis. Their reunion is cut short when they realize that Janet has a stalker who could be using the concert as a way of getting close to her. Sam tries to get rid of a wealthy businessman who refuses to gamble. Nessa tries to do the right thing when a slightly under age gambler wins big.
Sam brings in one of the premiere high rollers from China, Zhoa, by promising to arrange a reunion with his two famous daughters. Danny is assigned to keep the daughters out of trouble, and the tabloids. When an assassin attempts to take Zhoa's life in the hotel, Ed and Danny partner with Luis to find out who was behind it. Mike saves a drunk stripper from getting hit by a bus. In return for his good deed, Mike receives a lawsuit from the stripper to compensate for her injuries. Mary has to keep fifty brides happy while trying to stop one of the couples from breaking up, during Wedding weekend.
When Olga, one half of the Montecito's husband and wife magic group Vera & Olga, disappears and never reappears, Danny and Ed must find the missing magician. Vera attempts to do a solo show but is booed off stage. Danny and Ed must save the show, and the casino's investment. Mike runs into a friend from college who is in town for the World Poker Championship. However, Mike discovers that a violent loan shark is backing his friend. Mike has to do something before anyone gets hurts. Danny is assigned to watch over the national swizzle stick convention. Things go awry when one of the committee members' George W. Bush swizzle stick is stolen.
The Montecito is the host for the biggest boxing match of the year. Danny and Ed must keep the fighters' warring entourages from turning the casino into one huge fight. When one of the entourages steals the other fighter's manager's prosthetic leg, Danny must find the leg before the fight or be forced to cancel the main event. The odds on the under card keep fluctuating, causing Ed to get suspicious. They question Colmen Riggs and find out that they may have a huge problem on their hands. Mike, Nessa and Delinda find $50,000 and Mike is convinced they will have a weekend of love.
Ed's old CIA partner makes a visit to the casino. He has been hired to install a new security system and revolutionize the Montecito. When the new equipment reveals that a computer hacker staying in the hotel has gotten into the system, Ed and Danny set out to find them. Mary welcomes the newest comic to the Montecito stage. She warns him to stick to jokes and not his claim to fame, the "Portland Dangler".
A massive power outage blacks out the entire Las Vegas strip and locks down the Montecito. At the exact time of the blackout, a mystery hotel guest is shot and killed on the casino floor. With Ed and claustrophobic Mike locked in the surveillance office, Nessa and Delinda attempt to find the killer, while a sleep-deprived Sam suspects the murder to be part of a cover-up involving the entire staff. Meanwhile, Danny and Mary spend the blackout trapped in an elevator, rehashing old feelings.
A suicidal hotel guest makes his life-ending intentions known. Danny and Ed must find him and stop him before its too late. After coaxing him from the ledge, Ed and Danny introduce him to the world of gambling, hoping to cheer his spirits and show him a fun time. Their plan backfires when he goes on a huge winning streak. Elsewhere, Sam allows herself to get close to a client but her dreams are ruined when his fiancée shows up at the Montecito. Ed tries to help an over-eager security guard who can't seem to shut his mouth.
The Montecito is hosting the filming of Jean-Claude Van Damme's new movie "Die Fast, Die Furious". After Van Damme falls to his death during the film's big motorcycle stunt, Ed and Danny must find an explanation for the accident. A rival casino host battles Sam for the biggest whale in Vegas. Delinda mourns after having a brief 24-hour fling with Jean Claude.
When a whale leaves town while owing the Montecito close to $5 million, Ed has 36 hours to find him and make good on the debt. When the whale ends up at the Montecito's sister hotel in New Orleans, Danny, Sam and Ed head there to get their player. Meanwhile, Mary must try to control a group of farmers in town for a family reunion and to celebrate their recent Power ball jackpot. Mike organizes the "World's Largest Wet T-Shirt Contest".
When a townie hits a big cash jackpot, Danny is assigned to protect Vegas' newest millionaire and his winnings, only to see him die from a heart attack. The man's greedy wife shows up and wants her cut of the winnings, only to find that the cash and the body are missing. Ed's mother comes to visit and tells the staff stories of Ed's childhood. Sam tries to tame the king and queen of coupons. They are a couple that is determined to enjoy Vegas without spending a single penny.
Sam's past revisits her in the form of a fugitive murderer who tracks her down to the Montecito. He wants revenge on Sam. After a close encounter with her, Danny and Ed must find him and protect Sam. The Montecito also hosts the state cheerleading championships. Mary is reunited with a former high school friend. Nessa argues in favor of Manchester United when verbally attacked by a group of British soccer fans.
A Montecito guest wins big, and almost immediately has his wallet stolen from him. Danny and Ed search for the thieves. The wallet is return by a good Samaritan who initially refuses a reward. Danny and Sam decide there must be something he wants. Meanwhile, one specific slot machine has an unusual payout pattern. Danny and the security team must figure out if the machine is defective or if someone is cheating them. Ed is preoccupied when he finds out that Jillian has been spending a little too much time with Mark McGrath from Sugar Ray. Not only is she spending time with him, but she is lying to Ed about it. An annoying and persistent agent bothers Mary about her less than talented clients.
Nessa starts a relationship and is falling in love with a new temporary Montecito employer known only as "Bob the Floater". Nessa turns to Ed in hopes of finding out more about her man. Meanwhile, a guest discovers that photographs of her undressing in a Montecito cabana have been posted on the Internet. Danny goes on the hunt for the cameraman who has also caught a revealing side of Delinda, and a close up of Mary. Sam engages in a war of words with a world-champion eater, causing her to step into the ring with him, but only after getting some expert training from Mike.
$5 million in diamonds are stolen from a Montecito guest. Danny brings Mike and his technical expertise in to help figure out how the mysterious thieves pulled off the caper. Once involved, Mike goes off on a detective power trip and is determined to solve the case. One of the hotel's most loyal high rollers announces that he is getting married. This shocks Sam, especially when he says that he "will never gamble again". Sam tries to do whatever she can to keep her loyal client from leaving. A corporate psychologist visits the Montecito to interview and assess the mental health of every member of Ed's team.
Nessa tries to help a gambler who is demanding his favorite dealer, only to realize that he has a bomb strapped to his chest. Ed casually joins the table, posing as a high roller, and tries to signal Danny that the man has a bomb. Mary and Sam organize a private pool concert by Everlast. The only attendees will be the privileged teenagers of the casino's high rollers. Delinda attempts to organize a successful live kitchen demonstration on the casino floor.
A monstrous amount of counterfeit $100 bills show up everywhere at the Montecito. Danny and his newest partner, Mike, try to find the source of the fake money. Danny gets some unpleasant news and Mary gets a surprise, and unwelcome, visit from her father.
Danny has been discharged from the Marines and returns to work and almost immediately he stops a man from stealing chips. Everyone is delighted that he has returned especially Mary. The memories of the war still haunt him and he acts weird and Mary grows concerned. The surveillance staff must deal with 2 of the stupidest people on the planet and find out what they are up to. Delinda and Sam clash, as Delinda doesn’t want to rent out Mystique to rich morticians for their closing party.
Fred Puterbaugh returns to the Montecito to try and win Nessa as he has now made his fortune into $16 million. The hotel has just opened a topless pool and when Danny goes to move a ficus tree to block the view from a hotel room he finds pottery and they learn that the archeologist they got to examine the tiles is a fraud. Danny, Mike and Sam try to find the tactics of a group of card counters.
When Ed is framed for murder of an ex CIA partner Mike and Danny must investigate in order to clear their boss’s name. Sam, Delinda, Mary and Nessa try to rent out their new home, they find what they think are the perfect couple but are they really who they look like?
When a truck of lobsters is stolen that Sam had ordered for a major clients wedding she must go to the other side of the country in order to find some more. Back in Vegas Mike and Danny try and find the person responsible for stealing them. Delinda’s high school boyfriend shows up and tells her he is dying of cancer and his final wish is to sleep with her. Mary must tackle Michael Buble in order to get him to sing.
When an ex marine's wife shows up at the Montecito looking for Danny so she could look after her son for a few hours, Danny agrees but he realizes that something is wrong when she doesn’t return. Sam plays Casino host to Bernard Taylor who wishes to loose all his money so his wife wont get any of it. Delinda, Mary and Nessa get lost in the desert and must remain calm until Clint Black comes to rescue them.
A woman shows up looking for Nessa who claims to be in contact with her father and says he wants to communicate with her. She begins asking Ed about he father’s death but then she is lead into a trap that could affect the entire casino. Will Ed be able to stop her before she gets away with millions? Mike and Danny battle each other to find the person responsible for copying a new video game.
The hotel prepares for the youth football team’s Casino League Grand Final game, Danny and Mike must locate a missing employee who is father to the captain of the team. His dad’s hobbies may have gotten him into trouble. Gavin Brunson returns to inspect his hotel and Sam is forced to train his girlfriend as a casino host but she then finds a way to get her fired.
When one of the Montecito’s high rollers ends up dead in Boston, Ed, Mike and Danny join forces with Crossing Jordan’s Woody Hoyt and Jordan Cavanaugh to solve the weird murder. Snoop Dogg visits the Montecito to scout locations for his video clip and tries to convince Delinda to film his next video in the Casino. Ed must deal with his wife living at the hotel when she moves in as their house is being renovated.
When a piece of priceless artwork is stolen from the hotel Ed must use Jack Keller to help him find it, but Jack can not be trusted will he help Ed get the painting back or will he once again screw him over? Danny and Mike must deal with a problem at their rental house when a lover’s quarrel turns bad.
Mike and Ed must put together the clues left behind when Mike sees a woman being held against her will in the back of a Taxi. Danny takes Mary for a romantic weekend in LA and rumors start that they will return married. Delinda becomes addicted to a musical group called the Polyphonic Spree.
When one of Sam’s clients appears to be laundering money Sam gets involved with a drug cartel. After Ed finds out Sam agrees to help the FBI by getting evidence that will prove they deal in drugs and arrest several members of the cartel. Delinda falls in love with Cody Barnes a rodeo champion but then his horse goes missing and she begs her dad for help in finding it.
After Ed is kidnapped, Danny and Mike must mount a search of the city to locate him. They receive instructions on how to pay the ransom and they follow through only to be double-crossed. Sam holds a Vegas style wedding for one of her clients and Delinda arranges for the Montecito to host Duran Duran.
Danny and Delinda smell something when trying to get a guest to pay his tab and they find a guest that seems to have committed suicide, but Delinda is suspicious and thinks he was murdered. Sam is host to a real estate tycoon who is obsessed with hygiene who threatens to leave when he finds a hair on his shoulder. Mike is reunited with an ex girl friend who has a strange request for him.
Delinda asks Danny to take a drunk guest up to her room but the only problem is that Danny is off duty and also very drunk. Later Ed throws the woman out of the hotel and she files charges against him, leaving Ed to clean up Danny’s mess. Delinda asks Paul Anka to convince Gunther to start serving lunch and Mike and Sam must work out why screams are coming from an elderly couple’s room.
When a young women Ed used to work with comes to the Montecito she may be putting everyone’s lives in danger when someone tried to kill her. Nessa and Delinda look after a new whale for Sam but instead of getting him to play they flirt with him for his affection.
The hotel is in a slow week and the department heads are all fighting so Ed decides to change things up by getting people to switch jobs for the day. Delinda takes over Ed’s job as President, Sam and Mary take over in Surveillance, Danny takes over the casino floor and Nessa is put in charge of Mystique. Meanwhile Mike helps Ed clear his names when he is accused of running a red light.
Sam is very exciting about playing host to a billionaire who has never had a casino host before, but Sam is shocked to find that it is her husband who has made a fortune. Mary’s whales turn the odds on the horse races and Ed and Danny become suspicious so Danny goes with them to watch their horse race and try and see what he is really doing. Ed has jury duty and Jillian is annoyed as it is Valentine’s day and he promised they would spend it together and despite his best efforts the judge wont let him get off.
A long time employee of the Montecito goes to Big Ed in order to get some help for her mother’s restaurant, at which some people are trying to take down some protection money so Ed contacts an old friend to help him and lead him to the person in charge. Danny must track down the guy who took the casino for $100000, which was stolen from the casino by a pretend high roller.
Danny’s old marine Captain and now a local politician comes to the Montecito and he is then blackmailed with photos of him and a 16-year-old girl. Danny agrees to help him but soon realizes that things are not how they seem. Ed suspects Sam is still involved with a drug cartel and he follows her and finds something he wasn’t expecting.
When one of Sam’s high rollers gets wine thrown at him by an obnoxious woman while wearing his fathers lucky lime green polyester leisure suit, Sam promises to get it cleaned if he will stay and play. Later he learns that there is more to Las Vegas than gambling. The Montecito is testing a new 'smart' blackjack table that supposedly catches card counters and cheats, but one particular player wins every time he plays. Meanwhile, Mary and Delinda deal with a hysterical woman from Phoenix looking for her husband who supposedly checked into the Montecito. The husband is at the casino under an assumed named, but for a rather surprising reason.
When Ed suspects that the security system has been breached, Danny and Mike are chosen to look into the problem and find out who the mole is. Sam plays host to some high rolling vampires. Delinda helps her Amish cousin see the sites of Vegas.
Mary finally meets her secret admirer, who happens to be the attorney of a person who is accused of stealing from the Montecito gift shop, which Mary witnessed. When Mike’s idol looses his wedding ring at a local brothel and Mike must find it for him before his wife finds out it is missing. Danny and Ed follow the last wishes of Louis who was killed in Iraq.
Fred Puterbaugh returns to the Montecito with his girlfriend Ashanti; the reason he has returned again is to thank Ed and Danny for saving his life by buying them a present and then he tells Ed that he is going to buy the Montecito. Sam deals with an unhappy whale who thinks his wife was charged too much in the spa. Ed tries to be patient with Arnold, an annoying pest who gets caught handing out flyers in the casino, among other irritating behavior.
In the final episode of the second series it’s the centenary celebration of the city of Las Vegas and the Montecito will be sold by midnight and sealed bids are due before then. The show finishes with the hotel being imploded and the identity of the mystery buyer still unknown.
The new owner of the Montecito is revealed to be Monica Mancuso a young woman who married a billionaire and inherited his fortune. Ed is worried that the Montecito will be the next target for a robbery after several attacks on other casinos. Ed tries to convince Monica to postpone the opening to be better prepared, but she refuses. Ed entices Danny to rejoin the Montecito and he then gets Sam to return for the opening and bring some of biggest whales.
The casino has reopened. Ed and Mike work on a case of counterfeit casino chips. Per his accountant’s suggestion, Danny must sell his father’s house. Later, Danny’s accountant is part of a poker game where one of the players is a man who robs one of the casino’s guests. Monica Mancuso, the new owner, wants a dealer to be fired because he keeps dealing winning hands to the players.
Danny is with blackjack player Gabe Labrador who's wearing a wig and counting cards. The man doesn't want to stop playing and claims he must win big to pay off the men who kidnapped his daughter. Ed, Mike, Danny and a cop from Metro work on the case even though they aren't sure Gabe is telling the truth. Mary seems to still be helping Danny taking care of his dad's stuff. She is still dating Jake. A player who won a lot of money wants to give it back, but then wants it back, then wants to give it again, etc. Sam and Woody (from "Crossing Jordan") are getting very well acquainted... Jordan from "Crossing Jordan" is also in this episode.
Sam's whale is named Trey Cooper, a handsome 30-year-old who brought his Great Dane to the casino. There are a lot of dogs around the casino as the Nevada State Dog Show is taking place. Jillian enters the Deline's dog in the competition. Monica and Danny meet with an 80-year-old woman named Dottie. Monica offers 3 million for Dottie's house in order to complete the golf course. Things become complicated when construction workers find a skeleton when they raze Dottie's house. A CSI believes it could be the body of Seymour "Blue Jaw" Magoon, a member of a 40s gang called Murder Inc. Mike helps a couple who's "stuck" together. Jake seems to still be in Mary's life. Mike is still helping Danny to find information on the woman his father was dating before he died.
After Ed's doctor warns him that his blood pressure is dangerously high, Ed becomes the victim of identity theft. Sam's half-brother visits. Mike borrows Ed's Aston Martin with unforeseen consequences.
Sam's brother is staying longer than expected because he's having an affair with Monica. Danny tracks down the woman who appears on pictures with his father and makes a shocking discovery. Ed finally has enough of Monica and quits.
Danny buys a plate that is depicts the logo of Lester Collette's Jubilee Hotel and Casino from 1962. The Jubilee was situated on land where the Montecito is located. Members of the current Montecito staff take on different roles in this retrospective of the Rat Pack era in Las Vegas.
The Montecito has an exhibition of the Star of Kashmir a priceless sapphire on loan from the Indian Government. Monica has the security systems turned off, tries the necklace on and then it goes missing. Will Danny be able to find it before the thief escapes with it?
Meanwhile, Monica tries to woo Ed back to the Montecito.
The Montecito plays host to a comic book convention and Monica is mistaken for a character called Mothwoman. Danny sees that Monica is losing it and contacts Casey about a possible takeover, Monica finds out and demands that Danny meet her on the roof, only for her to become the victim of a freakish accident.
Casey Manning, who was poised for a hostile takeover, is now forced into a backup plan after Monica's accident. Monica leaves the Montecito to a charity. Delinda falls in love with a blind man but he is keeping a big secret from her.
When a televised national poker tour comes to the Montecito, Danny and Mike have a hunch that someone is cheating so they investigate security footage despite protests from the show's producers. Meanwhile, Ed gets a little hot under the collar when his wife Jillian decides to visit and old flame. Elsewhere, upset with Casey's low divorce settlement offer, Sam insists on half ownership of the casino but due to an out-of-state legal technicality, Casey withdraws his initial settlement offer and threatens to take her to court to keep everything.
When diamonds are stolen from the Montecito pool during a taping of a Lil' Flip music video, Danny finds himself relying on amateur sex video footage to track down the thief. Meanwhile, Mike and Ed investigate a suspicious craps player who rolls tens every time. Elsewhere, Sam and Mary set out to reveal Mike's secret life as a male stripper named "Hot Chocolate."
With great fanfare, the Montecito prepares for the grand opening of Wolfgang's seventh Vegas restaurant, Wolfgang Puck at the Montecito. Elsewhere, hotel guests become frightened when they begin having ghostly encounters. Danny and Ed are certain there is an explanation, while Mike is convinced the ghost is Monica. Meanwhile, Sam wagers a bet with her nemesis, Paul Logan, to see who is the best casino host in Vegas...the loser must leave town for good.
When an eye-opening $2.9 million irregularity is discovered in the casino's auditing report, the ensuing investigation points to the late Monica Mancuso as the culprit.Meanwhile, Danny's former marine sergeant is signed on as a security guard, but his hard-nosed style rubs people the wrong way. Also, Mike a meteorologist wannabe, gets an opportunity to report the weather.
The Montecito hosts a car show, and Nascar Nextel Cup Series driver Jimmie Johnson comes to Las Vegas to act as celebrity judge. During his stay, he receives plenty of attention from the ladies, Mary and Delinda, who make it clear how much they would love to go for a ride.Meanwhile, an urban legend comes to life when Danny and Mike enter one of the hotel rooms to discover a man missing a kidney lying in a bathtub full of ice.Sam's newest whale comes with a unique problem, palmar hyperhidrosis (a.k.a. sweaty palms), and to deal with him, she must teach Ed the casino host ropes.
When Monica's friend, Norma Pitts, finds a finger in the Montecito's new buffet, she has everyone worried she'll sue. However, Norma tells Ed she doesn't intend to sue; she wants only one thing...Danny. Using surveillance footage, Ed, Danny and Mike discover that the finger belonged to a Montecito employee and are shocked when they find out how he lost it. Meanwhile, Sam finds her self with tough customer, Oliver Grimaldi. The nicer she is the tougher he becomes. Perhaps he likes mean girls?
When Danny apprehends a chip thief, the thief complicates matters by claiming he met someone who plans to blow up the Montecito Ed sees this as the thief's ploy to get out of trouble; Danny feels they must investigate Meanwhile, Sam hears rumors about Travis, the new masseur, and decides to conduct her own investigation. Mary arranges a cook-off between Gunter and Wolfgang Puck that results in ruffled feathers.
Mary finds herself nervously coordinating an extravagant wedding for one of Sam's biggest whales. Meanwhile, Ed and Danny are up against card counters of very unusual sorts. Elsewhere, Mike chases a woman who, unbeknownst to him, is attending a Born Again Virgins conference.
Danny and Mike find themselves investigating a string of robberies in the residential suites and, in their spare time, posing for a charity beefcake calendar. Meanwhile, Jillian panics when a pop psychologist whose seminar she's attending says her marriage to Ed sets a bad example and may be the reason Delinda remains single. Jillian browbeats Ed into a counselling session with her new mentor.
Even Danny and Delinda are surprised when sparks fly between them. They decide to keep their romance a secret, but can they? Complicating things further, matchmaker Jillian decides to fly Delinda's college beau Dr. Derek in as a surprise. Meanwhile, Montecito owner Casey declares that all department heads must go on a team building paintball retreat and while there, Casey tries his luck with Mary.
Ed and Jillian set off on a retreat that proves to be anything but peaceful. Meanwhile, Danny and Mike contend with a suspicious heavy hitter who wants to bet a million dollars a hand. Elsewhere, love is in the air and things are turning very serious for Delinda and Dr. Derek.
Delinda answers Dr. Derek's marriage proposal. Meanwhile, a couple of high rollers suspect their spouses are cheating, so Danny and Mike investigate; and Sam and Woody depart for a romantic getaway.
Old romances - and simmering conflicts - resurface as one of the ladies prepares for her nuptials. Meanwhile, Ed's CIA past comes back to haunt him, threatening his life.
Everyone is shocked when Ed is attacked by an armed gunman. In the ensuing chaos, Casey disappears, upsetting Mary. Meanwhile, an emotional Delinda admits her feelings for Danny, to her fiance Derek's dismay. Elsewhere, Sam travels to Hawaii to contend with a whale who won't vacate the Montecito's Hawaiian Villas and is discovered with a dead stripper in his villa. Sam encounters a conniving realtor who has her own agenda with Sam's whale. Sam also has to deal with Vic Manning, Casey's litlle brother, whom she once had a fling with, but he's still carrying the torch for her.
Ed returns from a secret trip to Morocco with shocking news about his past. Meanwhile, Danny and Delinda's romance continues to heat up. Elsewhere, Mike travels to Hawaii to help Sam with her "whale" problem. Mary is upset with everyone when she discovers she is the last to know about Danny and Delinda. Sam returns to Vegas and finds herself in money trouble after three of her clients stiffed the Montecito. Ed connects her with Warren Pemberton, who has unorthodox, but effective means of collections debts from dead beat gamblers. Meanwhile, Ed helps a man prove to his wife that he's a tough guy.
Vegas heats up as Boston Medical Examiner Jordan Cavanaugh and police officer Woody Holt come to the Montecito hot on the trail of a murder and a missing rare violin. Meanwhile, the Montecito is dealing with its own missing items. Someone has robbed the casino's safe deposit vault containing potentially priceless items. Among the items, the rare violin and Lawrence Taylor's favorite superbowl ring. Amidst the chaos Danny and Delinda try to figure out the best way to tell Ed that they are moving in together.
Ed and Danny only have twelve hours to save Delinda from her kidnappers, so they must steal 50 million dollars from the Montecito or she will suffocate after being buried alive. Meanwhile, at the Montecito, Mary deals with a new casino mascot's most inappropriate behavior. Sam cope with two moronic lottery winning whales who are running amok in the casino, more interested in playing tag than gambling.
Ed and Danny attempt to rescue Delinda from the kidnappers. Meanwhile, at the Montecito, Mike and Sam try to figure out if a Buddhist Monk's major winning streak is just a scam. Elsewhere, a flu epidemic hits the Montecito and Mary tries to cover for the many employees who call in sick. The flu couldn't hit at a worse time given that a critic from a high-end travel magazine is staying at the Montecito.
A black-booked mobster purchases the Montecito's million dollar wedding package for his daughter, which includes a fully catered wedding, luxury treatment, a Harry Winston engagement ring and Wayne Newton. However, problems arise because Ed and Wayne Newton are on bad terms, someone stole the diamonds, and with many of the wedding guests allegedly members of the mafia, the suspect list is a mile long. Meanwhile, Sam hosts Sharkey Rosenthal, a whale who ran with the Rat Pack, nearing the end of his life. Elsewhere, Danny and Delinda are finding out that living together is not as easy as it seems.
It's Christmas at the Montecito and everyone reluctantly takes part in Ed's Secret Santa gift exchange. Meanwhile, Danny's car, his most prized possession, is stolen on Christmas Eve. Elsewhere, Delinda is eagerly planning her first Christmas with Danny. Meanwhile, Sam helps one of her favourite "Whales" get through the holidays by surprising him with an autographed photo of Elvis from his first Vegas concert and a private viewing of the travelling Elvis collection.
A very rare wine has been discovered in the wine cellar of the Montecito, which Ed sees a perfect opportunity to boost the casion's profile. Unfortunately, Mike realizes the wine isn't genuine just minutes after it is auctioned off for one million dollars. Meanwhile, a group of retirees checks into the Montecito for a soduku tournament but some of the women give Sam a hard time when they have a different idea of fun. Danny gets insecure when Delinda starts spending a lot of time with a new toy.
One of Ed's most revered former employees returns to the Montecito for her wedding anniversary, but her hubby raises Ed's suspicions. Meanwhile, Mary and Sam battle to woo different VIPs.
Ed, Danny and Mike make a bet to see who's the best security operator and who can find the most waste at The Montecito. Sam is on a mission with Polly, the "Manicurist of the Year," to get Polly's ex-boyfriend back. Meanwhile, Mary is responsible for selling the last residential suite and she hopes to entice big money with a special performance by John Legend.
Ed must enroll in anger management classes, which leads him to find his inner peace. Mike tries to buy a condo, but has issues doing so. Meanwhile, Sam is annoyed when a basketball player she's hosting takes an interest in Mary. Elsewhere, Delinda tries to prove she's a good person by cooking food for the homeless, but ends up doing more harm than good in the process.
The Montecito prepares for a world-famous mummy exhibit, only to have it stolen before it even arrives at the hotel. Because of special circumstances, the authorities cannot investigate the theft, so Ed, Danny, Mike, and Delinda try to handle the crisis on their own, Mission Impossible style. Meanwhile, Sam is hosting Harris Lipsky, a boorish man with atrocious table manners. Harris seems to only get pleasure from paying people to do things they normally wouldn't do.
Things heat up when Sam's whale and his three wives arrive in Las Vegas, and Sam has to leave the foursome with Delinda for the day after her long-lost love wakes up from a 20-year coma. Meanwhile, Mike falls for one of the wives; Danny becomes jealous when he learns the whale's plans; and Ed tries to replace his housekeeper while Jillian is away.
Despite an unexpected death, Ed allows the company picnic and games to carry on. Mike is appointed the captain of the "front of the house" team and gets pumped up for the big day. He takes his role a bit too seriously and irritates everyone. Meanwhile, Mary testifies against her father.

In the season finale, all hell breaks loose. The Montecito is in danger of being siezed by the IRS. Sam is kidnapped by a whale she poached. Mary plans to confront her father. Danny helps out a friend who is trying to avoid being deployed to Iraq. Delinda's life is endangered. The casino is robbed. Ed makes a choice that will affect everyone at the Montecito.
The Montecito is in complete chaos in the wake of the murder of Mary's father, an armed robbery, Sam's kidnapping, and an explosion. A list of suspects in the murder soon emerges, and the investigation begins to narrow in on certain suspects when a cell phone video surfaces.
At the casino, Ed must find out if the robbery was an inside job. Meanwhile, Mike and his team work endlessly on solving the murder. Delinda, who barely escaped the explosion, finally tells Danny her secret. Sam tries to escape from her kidnapper. The new owner, AJ Cooper, arrives.
In the conclusion of the two-part season premiere, AJ Cooper, the new owner of the Montecito, arrives. Almost immediately he starts to shake things up with his "Anything Can Happen" promotion. Sam relates the events of the past two episodes to her new shrink, Dr. Levin. A doctor from Kansas City is having a hot streak at the blackjack table and Mike suspects that he's cheating in some fashion.
Things are thrown for a spin when new owner AJ Cooper tries to put in motion new changes for the Montecito. Danny begins to think he's not the front runner for president when Cooper decides to interview external candidates, and Mike risks his friendship with Danny and applies for the position. Meanwhile, Sam continues with therapy and begins to realize she has no true friends.
Cooper is able to get the Pacific Tropic Spokesmodel Search Contest to be held at the Montecito, but things don't go as planned when some of the contestants are sabotaged. Mike attempts to look for the person behind the sabotage, but he is distracted by the beautiful woman he's assigned to protect. Meanwhile, Sam swears she saw a guest murder a woman, but has trouble convincing Danny that it really happened.
Danny and Mike must solve a murder that was committed in Cooper's suite. However, Cooper has no recollection of what occurred. Cooper doesn't help matters by disappearing. Danny and Mike must find him before the police do. Meanwhile, Piper helps a geeky boy become more mainstream for his bar mitzvah.
For Halloween, Piper decides to dress up in several different costumes and try to scare her co-workers. Cooper shadows Sam for the day as she tries to land a new whale, but Cooper ends up scaring the potential high-end client away. Delinda thinks she found the greatest pastry chef, but after only a few days, the chef's attitude makes her want to fire her.
Danny and Mike head to a local strip club for a birthday party, but things take a bad turn when the club owner beings to rough-up one of the strippers. Meanwhile, Delinda takes it upon herself to campaign for better rights for Las Vegas exotic dancers; and Piper has Sam help her find a scandalous video that she doesn't want anyone to see, but Sam only agrees to help if Piper helps her land a whale.
The Montecito hosts an environmentally friendly conference, which makes Delinda realize that the casino staff should be working harder to save the Earth. She tries to convince Danny that "green" is the way to go, but when he questions her, things get heated at home.
Meanwhile, Cooper competes with a business rival to acquire a key parcel of land in Canada. When some of her whales cancel, Sam resorts to duping a high-end matchmaker into fixing her up with wealthy gentlemen.
The arrival of a fire marshal and Danny's alcoholic uncle creates a hectic time for the new president of operations. Meanwhile, a group of robbers have their eye on the Montecito, and Mike is in charge of an off kilter competition.
The effects of the robbery hit not only the Montecito but all over Vegas, and the clues all point to Danny's uncle as the culprit. Cooper meets with executives from other casinos to implement damage control. Las Vegas mayor Oscar Goodman lends his support to Cooper's effort.
All of the Monticello staff are making their holiday plans except for Mike, who is battling self doubt. Meanwhile, A Scrooge-like Sam deals with a charitable client; Delinda and Piper attend a hot Santa competition; and Danny is pushed by Cooper to fill an empty retail-space.
Danny and Mike are sent to Wyoming by Cooper to purchase a horse. Meanwhile, Delinda searches for a new chef for the casino restaurant, and things get out of whack when Piper's ex-flame comes to town.
A long-wanted fugitive has been tracked to the Montecito, attracting an unsavory collection of assasins and bounty hunters, along with federal agents. Cooper, Mike, and Danny have their hands full attempting to keep the casino from becoming a battlefield. Out at the pool, three very attractive women are causing a stir and may also be cheating at the in-pool blackjack table. Sam tries to comfort one of her favorite whales who recently lost his wife and children. Delinda deals with her increasing girth from being pregnant. Piper doesn't help by banishing her from the pool area.
In an effort to get rid of a pesty teenager belonging to a whale, Piper makes the mistake of allowing her one spin on a slot machine. When the gaming commission comes after Piper, Cooper bails her out with $1 million, surprising his staff. Meanwhile, Sam and Polly are ordered to attend driver's school after Sam is cited for speeding and Polly is caught lying for her in court. Danny and Delinda take parenting classes and encounter a neurotically over-organized couple who are treating the pregnancy more like management consultants than expectant parents.
Sam engages the services of the legendary 'Cleaner' to rid her whales of traces of their trangressions in a local strip club so their wives won't know what they've done. Cooper challenges Danny to a devise an attraction that will generate additional non-gaming revenue. Mike and Piper attempt to poach a bartender and end up getting drunk, which results in the most unintended of consequences. Delinda organizes a party in an effort to provide closure to Mike and Piper's dilemma.
Danny and Mike participate in a 2-on-2 basketball tournament that is being manipulated by a local bookie and some shady eastern Europeans. Polly helps Danny recover from a minor ankle injury with a Korean folk remedy. Meanwhile, Piper deals with a demanding judge for the title of Conceirge of the Year.
Cooper is suspicious of Pete Skinner, who has an uncanny knack of picking winners at the track. A whale hands off his grandmother to Sam to be entertained and she insists on playing Bingo. Delinda is called upon to referee the pair. Danny, Mike and Polly do a practice run to the maternity ward. Polly takes her role as Delinda's surrogate a bit too seriously, resulting in unintended consequences.
The surveillance room is taken hostage in order to facilitate a theft from an auction of rare stamps hosted by the Montecito. However, the theft may be a diversion for a larger plot. Danny coerces Sam into hosting a germophobic, reclusive billionaire who is only visiting the Montecito for one hour to view a particularly rare stamp. Delinda and Cooper have an unexpected dinner and get to know one another better.
Casey Manning's brother, Vic, is back in town and has his eye on Sam and the Montecito. Cooper has big plans for a major expansion. Mike and Piper plan a more formal wedding ceremony and others pile on making for multiple nuptuals. Mike's uncle, a church deacon, behaves badly at his stag party, causing family friction. Jillian Deline returns to the Montecito to visit Delinda and reveals some startling news regarding Ed. Everyone is shocked at potential tragedies that unfold just prior to the ceremonies.
