Hobbo and his friends attempt to help Toby win back the affections of his ex-wife. Glenda decides to try and help Morton find a woman. Howard goes into the library to let Marina know that there is a problem with their bike ride that afternoon, his wife is going out too. PC Cooper and PC Walsh test out a new in-car fryer.

After Pearl throws Howard out he goes to Clegg's for sympathy but his moans just end up falling on deaf ears. Pearl informs Nelly that she is going to sort out Howard once and for all. When Glenda decides that Barry and herself are over weight she decides that something must be done about the problem before Gloria's wedding.

Howard remains homeless and Hobbo decides that he needs to show Pearl who's boss. Hobbo wants Howard to remind Pearl of the good times that they have shared. Marina helps Miss Davenport improve her appearance and she then decides to seize the moment with Mr Waddle.

Howard's friends attempt to convince Pearl that Howard has become a tramp as they try to get her to take him back. Toby's attempt to win Monica back are ruined by a dog. Marina decides on a change of image.

Howard decides to try and find out if Pearl still loves him and asks Hobbo to give her a peck on the cheek from him. He becomes even more despondent though when he witnesses Pearl giving him a passionate kiss back. Glenda decides to send Barry off to paint a landscape in an effort to take his mind off food.

Everyone preapres ready for the wedding which prompts Howard and Pearl to look back at their relationship. Alvin flirts with Stella. Toby attempts to improve his image as he tries to win back Monica. Clegg thinks that he's forgotten something important.
