| Dustin Hoffman's filthy joke:
|
|
In my opinion Dustin Hoffman was required by his film contract to promote the film by appearing on talk shows. He has resisted making these appearances for his entire career. His rebellion to this requirement was to tell a joke that needed The "F" word and the "C'" word to make it's point. The joke had a child's rebellion as it's theme. When Hoffman told the punchline Conan was so blown away that he had used the "C" word that he left his chair and hid behind the Christmas tree on the set.
