The 4th installment of Law & Order created by Law & Order's mastermind Dick Wolf, Trial by Jury takes a hard look at the judicial part of a case, and the lawyers and people involved during a trial.
This installment lasted only one season, the first Law & Order show to be cancelled due to low ratings. Law & Order: Trial by Jury stars Bebe Neuwirth (Frasier) and Amy Carlson along with Law & Order veteran Fred Dalton Thompson (Law & Order). Trial by Jury also featured Jerry Orbach's last appearances as DA Investigator Lennie Briscoe in the first two episodes of the series. Kirk Acevedo also stars as DA Investigator Hector Salazar. Scott Cohen appears on the show as Detective Chris Ravell after Orbach's passing.
