	D.A. Investigator Lennie Briscoe [Episodes 1-2], played by Jerry Orbach D.A. Investigator Briscoe comes to the D.A.'s Office after leaving the 27th Precinct after working there for over ten years. For the first two episodes of the show, Briscoe works along with D.A. Investigator Salazar to help A.D.A. Kibre and A.D.A. Gaffney with their cases. We later learn that Briscoe has passed away. He is replaced by Detective Chris Ravell.
