After a young woman is murdered, the supsects found are close to her: Her current boyfriend, an artist struggling in the industry, and her ex-boyfriend, an Ivy League student who has a reputation as a Lothario. The investigation shows that it looks like both men did this, but Stone tries to focus it on the ex-boyfriend, although prosecuting him for the crime seems to be an exercise in futility.
