A cabbie is found murdered in what appears to be a robbery; however, Briscoe and Logan uncover his involvement in a number of get-rich-quick schemes. During the trial, much of the evidence appears to be circumstantial against one of the victim's partners -- until McCoy and Kincaid find a surprise witness at the last minute. Lisa Gay Hamilton (The Practice), Michael Beach (Third Watch) and Dominic Chianese (The Sopranos) guest star.
