Controversial gay city councilman Richard Durban is shot dead after a forum to discuss gay/lesbian medical issues. The murder weapon is soon traced to a missing piece of evidence from a 1985 gun shop robbery -- meaning someone with access to the police department is to blame. Daniel Hugh Kelly (Star Trek: Insurrection) and Peter Gerety (K-Pax) guest star.
