Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Curtis (Benjamin Bratt) investigate the fatal heart attack of a New York City corporate mogul caused by an overdose of a sexual performance-enhancing drug. Detective Curtis puts his personal and professional life on the line when Assistant District Attorneys McCoy (Sam Waterston) and Carmichael (Angie Harmon) ask him to take the stand in order to link the scandalous sex crime to a motive. Julia Roberts ('Pretty Woman') guest-stars. S. Epatha Merkerson and Steven Hill also star.
