Detectives Fontanta and Green investigate the murder of an undercover reporter that was found out to be related to the story she was working on, a Latino gang, L-12. The investigation leads them to a man who reported that his car was stolen but really paid off a member of L-12 to not hurt his son, which was imprisoned on the same cell block with many of the gang members.
