When a woman is found slain at home, Detectives Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio) and Eames (Kathryn Erbe) immediately focus their investigation on her son (guest star Adam Storke) -- a paroled murderer who lived with her and knew that she suspected his involvement in an earlier, notorious sexual assault. However, new DNA evidence in the rape case reveals that one of the police detectives (guest star Mike Starr) might have forced a confession from the teens who were convicted years before. Jamey Sheridan and Courtney B. Vance also star.
