When the scion of a powerful radio magnate Jonas is found murdered under bizarre circumstances, Detectives Goren and Eames believe the crime is connected to a power struggle over the family trust as they focus on the patron's Chinese-born wife, Anna. However, the detectives also keep circling around a pair of Megan's friends -- a kinky professor who is her ex-husband and a mysterious businessman, both of whom had their own reasons to kill.
