Episode Summary

When the wife (guest star Mary Beth Hurt, "The World According to Garp") of an entrepreneur (guest star Henry Winkler, "Happy Days") is found bludgeoned and brutally raped on her kitchen floor, Detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Christopher Meloni) believe the attack to be the work of a possible serial rapist. But as the investigation of another attack believed to have been committed by the same man begins to reveal some oddities, attention is re-focused on both sets of grief-stricken husbands and recovering wives, who may or not be who they claim to be. Dann Florek, Ice-T, and Stephanie March also star.
