Recap

The scene opens with a protest. A reporter interviews William Rand about what he is doing now. Meanwhile, Amaro comes home to his wife. Rand goes into his limo after the interview and drinks water. However, he starts to feel drowsy. The drink has been drugged. Later, a teacher is escorting a group of kids and one of them sees someone. The teacher sees that it is Rand with “Payback is a Bitch” written on his leg and he is in his underwear. At the hospital, Benson and Amaro talk with Rand about the assault. He says that he was drugged and everything is too hazy. Virginia Pell, the counsel of Rand, tells the detectives that they are going to be taking over the investigation on the assault. Benson says that she appreciates that, but they don’t need her meddling. The detectives get back to the station and find out that Rand also received threats from the protest outside during the time of his interview. They go talk to one of the protesters. He tells them that he did make comments, but nothing more then just that. He mentions that there was a former military NARC that was hanging out in the protests. ..
